Ordered delivery. I had chicken chow mein and Mongolian chicken. There was barely any chicken in the chow mein. I had to go digging through the noodles. The Mongolian chicken container looked empty. Not a whole to their portion size. I'm not expecting a whole lot of food but at least something substantial. Flavors weren't too bad but I'll check out another place the next time I order Chinese.

Pork fried rice has absolutely no flavor the breading on the prongs and fish for the appetizer cover up how small the actual fish is although it doesn’t taste too bad if you dip it in several sources, I just can’t get over the fact that fried rice has no flavorThe pic shows all the extra breading from only 4 prawns can’t tell the rice flavor but the quality ya no thanx not again

I was food poisoned. This was my only lunch and food from lunch on and begin throwing up and diarrhea. Had to call out from work. Had fried rice and honey walnut chicken. The chicken was in pinky size small. And rice had no vegetables like most fried rice. And to put the cherry on top, my fortune cookie had no paper fortune inside. Wasn't friendly.

I just ordered Shrimp fried rice, crab ragoon, and lemon chicken. Worst meal ever! The crab ragoon was over cooked(fried), the shrimp fried rice only had four small pieces of shrimp, and the lemon chicken consisted of very small pieces of some strange meat. Everything tasted the same...like the grease it was cooked in or near. I ended up throwing it all out and as I write this feel a serious case of food poisoning coming on. I've tried a lot of Chinese food in the area and this was definitely the worst.

Best Chinese Food in Vallejo and surrounding area!!!! Food is always made to order very quickly using only the freshest meat and vegetables and sauces prepared daily. The portions are generous, reasonably priced and flavors are on point no matter what you order. Some of my favorite entrees are honey walnut prawns, salt and pepper pork chops, sweet and sour pork, broccoli or Mongolian beef and ALL of the chicken dishes… lemon, Kung Pao, string bean, or sesame chicken! They are all the absolutely delicious!!!The fried rice and chow mein are always a staple when we order and the beef chow fun is amazing!!! They have a number of soups to choose from as well, my favorite being the war won ton! Delicious! My favorite appetizers are the crab puffs, dumplings and the chicken wings with their homemade sweet and sour sauce! It’s out of this world!!!If you haven’t eaten at the China Barn, you are missing out and must try it!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian dishes or they can make anything to orderParking: Street parking as well as parking lot behind restaurant/building

Honestly. This place is so good. There wor wonton soup is amazing, as with their general tsaos chicken, and everything else I've had there. So good!

Another amazing dinner at the China Barn. The food was piping hot, with tons of fresh meat, seafood and veggies and nice sized serving! Quick service and best flavors around; the food is superb!!! We ordered all the staples and was plenty for dinner and lunch the next day. Started with dumplings, crab puffs and won ton soup then had Mongolian beef, honey walnut prawns and Kung pao chicken and sweet and sour pork. I can't even pick a fave dish, they are all equally amazing! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out! Available for delivery or carry out, no dining in since Covid.
