Has anyone else tried Noonies? I was at the waterfront today for the little festival to get some eats. And we decided on Noonies. We had the Shrimp: sweet and tender and the tails already off. The Hush Puppies: Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mac and Cheese: Oh so cheesy! And the fish: Basa. (It is a bottom feeder.) But it is so tender and delicious and not gamey and flaky like Catfish. I found it more delicious than Cod. The food was a little on the salty side… but with beer paired it was fantastic! Apparently they are local and on Sonoma Blvd! I highly recommend them for both their food and their wonderful customer service and genuine kindness. A great place to check out! 2907 Sonoma Blvd.

I had the pleasure of dining in, pre-COVID-19 on several occasions. The restaurant and staff are impeccably clean. The food and desserts are so satisfying. Noonies provides the dining experience you hope for each time you venture to dine out or order in. I had the oysters, they were fried perfectly not too soft and not too hard. Seasoned with a blend that delighted my taste buds. My brother had the chicken and waffles. He assured me the waffle was light and fluffy and the chicken was just right again seasoning and consistency on point. I have also used them for catering for a large event. The prices are very fair and all the guests raved about the food. The Mac and cheese was a symphony of cheesy delicious goodness. The candied yams were so good because the owner has decided to embark on a special blend of delicately balanced essential spices to make the yams a winner every time. I hope to see it soon available for retail purchase. You can't go wrong with any menu item, period.

DONT DOORDASH. They forgot an item as well as lied about the ingredients in BIG rifa plate and my Lucille's scramble is supposed to have different veggies.. they only put bell pepper into it. I ordered my meal with sausage and they gave me bacon. The side of rice is the size of a side ketchup container. Avoid it and just go to Nations. At least food is priced accurately.DEAR OWNER: Thanks for your response but I have no time to go back and forth with you. I said what I said and it's all true. 1. I replaced the yams with okra medley and so please get the facts straight before you play middle man. 2. I handled it through doordash and since your menu isnt accurate that isnt my problem as a customer's. It's yours as an owner. 3. You told me you couldnt refund me and I hung up and dealt with it through doordash. Regardless, overall disappointing and really there's no use to argue over this. My grits were not with my door dasher. Anyways thanks for all the effort and energy. Still stand by my experience. Have a good day.

Shrimp po boy was really good. Delivered to my place a little on the lukewarm side, but that wasn't the restaurant's fault. I think I will pick up, next time. I will say that I'd probably ask them to go light on the sauce. It was tasty, but a little too much for me. Still very satisfying.BTW, if you're reviewing a restaurant, don't knock them down because your delivery person was an idiot. That is not the restaurant's fault and it is really unfair to do that to a business. Some of these delivery services suck. Don't take it out on the restaurant.

Delicious! Came here on a random weekday as I had a huge craving for fried chicken. I ordered the two piece plate that comes with one side and cornbread and it was very good! The prices are fair as well. My partner ordered the chicken and waffles and let me say this waffle is probably my favorite restaurant waffle I've had! It has a cinnamon flavor and the perfect amount of sweetness. If you are in Vallejo, you have to check out Noonies! Very friendly staff, great food, and good prices! Can't wait til my next visit

Delicious southern food with a family friendly vibe, great customer service and very filling. We had sandwiches, waffles and shrimp and grits. Waffles have a cinnamon flavor and were so good! Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Support this awesome black owned business, we certainly will again.
