mmmh keep politics out the public of your company, paying Californians a liveable wage is a good thing, if your company think that’s a problem, it’s not a company i want to support ! This sign is posted at the front register. Also we were standing at the front register and the guy ignored us until his coworker behind him asked if we’ve been helped yet, no apology just looked at us grabbed and pen and paper and stared

Picnicky's Sandwiches Shop is centrally located and one of Vallejo people's choice stars. The signs out front make it easy to find. There is free street and a side parking lot available. They have made it pretty easy for mobile orders or in person ordering. Today, I placed my order with a friendly staff person inside the shop. I ordered the sausalito sandwich with everything on it, mesquite barbecue chips, and a fountain drink. My sandwich was made fresh and tasted good as usual. The decor and ambiance are upbeat and friendly. l really wish they had a bathroom available for paying customers. Dine in eating would also make it easier to enjoy the sandwiches more frequently. Will come back. Highly recommend.

This place has changed. A couple of things I was unhappy with. They never answer the phone and when you get there the place is not busy. Another thing is the prices of their sandwiches now is RIDICULOUS. They went from 7 or 8 dollars to 15 dollars a sandwich. The sandwiches are good but not 15 dollars good. I won't be going there again

These sandwiches are some of the best in vallejo. If you add the garlic spread or the jalapenos spread. I promise you'll be back again and again. I thank you guys for everything you do! I hope in the future you guys will be able to let people to sit and eat there. Sometimes I sneak and get sandwiches from eat it in the car before I go home lol.

These folks were great all around. Last minute large order for 30 and they had a delicious sandwich tray out in 15 minutes that was a huge hit. They even served me excellent pineapple soft serve while I waited. I highly recommend this place.

Gave another chance after they messed up my BLT in the past. Ordered a BLT again and they gave me bacon crumbs/bits. The workers never asked if bacon bits was ok since they changed it from the strips. But on top of that the amount of bacon bits they put it's crazy and the fact they charge $15-$16 bucks for the sandwich. This is a rip off and just crazy to me. I felt like I was eating a veggie sandwich with crumbs. So depressing

The hot link sandwich was okay. The link was sorta bland and not spicy at all. The garlic spread that was added definitely helped with the flavor. The toppings were fresh and I thought the roll was good. I will say that the energy here is non-existent. The employees barely acknowledged us, never cracked a smile, and looked miserable being there. Maybe that's one reason why the sandwiches are not up to par.

Let me tell yooouuu!! I ordered The Caveman sandwich on Dutch crutch roll and I have enjoyed every bit of it. This was a sandwich huge and full of meat. It was the best sandwich I have ever had!! I enjoyed it. I will be ordering it again! The sauce is the best part of it. #1 sandwich shop in Vallejo.

Something happened here and its not for the better. My 4 star review in 2017 is no longer true. Less meat, new employees every time I go there that seem more focused on their social conversations then making sandwiches, a couple of wrong orders....... I gave the benefit of the doubt for a few trips with disappointment. I have a feeling the previous owners sold with a nondisclosure agreement to keep the transfer of ownership silent. I have no info to support this, just a guess, as I haven't seen any of the recognizable faces anymore. There is definitely change of management at the very least. Also, no fault of the business, the area feels less safe than before, which I didn't know was possible.

There is a reason why they haven't put tables back in this dump. It's not because of Covid. If you ate your sandwich there you'd be able to walk to the counter and tell them how incredibly shitty the sandwich was. You are just a fool if you read the more recent reviews and still order food. I recommend the deli inside Food Basket, about 3 minutes away. Their sandwiches are made using fresh ingredients and are 100% better.

Not sure what's going on with this joint lately, but that past several visits have been disappointing. I'm eating a sammy right now on sliced wheat, some how the bread is thinner than a tortilla. I order everything, all the veggies, it's barely noticeable on the sandwich, all the veggies are about as thin and paper thin bread. A sandwich is good because of the combo of meat cheese and VEGGIES. I did not order a meat sandwich. There's a lot of meat, great sure, but there's nothing else. The sammy's just tastes so basic, so not-quite-good, no life, no flavor. I remember coming here when we first moved several years ago, loved them. Management change? anyway now, I go less & less. Probably done for now. Too bad. Vallejo needs good food!

I wanted to like this place, I really did. We came in to try this spot out because we heard about this place years ago when it opened, but never got to it. The sandwich was decent, they had Dutch crunch. Your not gonna get the corner store city vibes of this sandwich, but it sorta kinda gets the job done, I mean, $15 for a half a foot sandwich? I guess we are in rough times. The downfall? We waited 30-40 minutes for 3 sandwiches. I don't mean to complain, nor am I an expert on what it means run a deli, but I do know that making a sandwich is pretty simple. You slab 1 person who came in, ordered their sandwich 15 minutes after we ordered got their sandwich before us, so that was kind of annoying . The list goes on. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were understaffed? Who knows? All I know is that as I watched one of the employees make our sandwich, it took her 2 minutes to slab on some lettuce. She just stared at the order for a really long time before putting lettuce on the sandwich. I mean, there is a store that specializes in holistic medicine next door, and I totally relate on just staring at something for a really long time before getting myself back to reality from zoning out. I get it. But man was I hungry waiting for my sandwich to be made. Overall, I'd give this place another chance, it has way more potential then what it was my first time coming here.

No tables inside so only takeout. The Dutch crunch had no crunch. It was the softest one I’ve ever had. Flavor of the garlic spread saved the sub. Had good flavor.
