It's your average chain red lobster we used to frequent here a few years back because of the sweet ol lady who used to waitress there. She has retired and now I find myself skipping it as an option for date nights.
I ordered fish and chips, substituted a loaded baked potato for chips. It came with a huge piece of fish, but as I took a bite, it was all batter, no fish. It was so overcooked that the fish shriveled up into a leathery strip at the bottom which I could not even chew. The baked potato was good and I had a piece of cake. The server was cheerful and friendly, but we had no utensils and excused herself after our food came to wait on a large party that arrived. The hostess took over and was fine. One other in our party said her food was overcooked. We had gift cards from Christmas, which was the only reason why we chose this high priced place. Long John Silver's drive thru could have put this place to shame, at a quarter of the price. I won't go to the Vallejo, CA Red Lobster ever again.

I'm so disappointed with the lack of follow thru with this restaurant after a very disappointing birthday dinner for my dad! Now, every time we see their commercial, we tell of the terrible experience we had there. To think that I used to be excited to try out this "great restaurant "! SMH! ???
