They become stingy and expensive if you buy pupusas, don't expect enough salsa, neither curtido, you may wanna eat dry pupusas.

These have been the worse popusas I’ve ever had and I haven’t had many lol service was really bad also the guy seemed bothered not to mention they were pretty cheap with the sauce , will not be returning I do not recommend

We used to love this place but our last visit was a complete dissapointment, we actually got sick from that food.Horchata tasted rancid, meat from enchiladas was clearly frozen meat that had been reheated many times, same with the other dishes, nothing was fresh and only one person doing the cooking and handling the money , never saw him washing hands in between tasks, as i said very sad,as it used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but we will not be returning .

Unfortunately, I have to leave a one start review. Placed an order and was told about 15-20 mins until food would be done. No issues with that wait time at all. The issue is that every time we order from Riconcito Salvadoreño, it is always emphasized that they are in a rush (on the phone) to hurry up and close the restaurant. When we arrive (three separate occasions) they have the chairs up and are mopping. The restaurant is supposed to close at 6pm. The order was placed at 4:45pm. To add insult to injury, we are told our order isn't ready at all. We have to wait an additional 15 mins for two pupusas. I really want to support small businesses but this will be our last time visiting this establishment.

Im from LA and was in Vallejo to do a job site only to come to Rinconcito Salvadoreño and have some of the best food I’ve ever tasted! Definitely5 star restaurant! I came here with my girlfriend and Got a Tamal de Elote & a Tamal de pollo ??? The empanada is more like a dessert but was still pretty good & the pastelitos are empanadas but with ground beef and that was pretty fire??? too! And me and my girlfriend got a pupusa revuelta and a pollo one and man you can’t go wrong with either or!

Great service, staff is really friendly. They are a small place so their service is good given the staff size. Food is great. Never had any issues with it. My dad and I love coming here when we want to eat Salvadorean food and it reminds us of home. Recommend it to anyone who wants to check out authentic salvadorean food.

Got very sick after having the chicken soup. 4 months later we had burritos and all 5 of us got bad stomach aches and diarrhea. Will never go to this place again. Plus tried to charge us for a bottle of cola champagne $5 bucks!!!

The papusas and tamales from this restaurant are simply heaven on a plate. It is hard for me to find tasty, vegan food in my area, and I will gladly travel on the hellish Highway 37 on a regular basis to maintain my stockpile of food from this terrific restaurant.

Came in for lunch. Parking tight. Some outdoor dining and about 8 indoors. Had garlic prawns. They butterfly them. Came with fries, rice. Simple salad and flT bread. Nothing special. Trying to get bill, pay, get change, fi ally had to approach chef. Waitress expected a 25% + tip. Then they gave me wrong change back. Shorted me a buck.

The food is great. Had a nice experiences, ordered to go and when I arrived food was hot and ready to take home. The papusas were delicious and both were tasty, the one with meat and the other without. High reccomened it.
