I ordered a combo(I rib with bone and 2 end pieces) and tri tip..the food was good but your portions are too small..I don't mind paying more as long as I walk away full..we need this place in our community so I will support and go back but bro you need bigger portions even if u gotta charge a few extra dollars...

My sister and I kept hearing about this place so we decided to try it. She had BBQ and I had seafood. Maybe their game was off that day or maybe we weren't raving like their FB videos show their customers doing so they didnt care what they gave us. . .but there's definitely no fuss to make about this place. My nephew even swore up and down to us that we didn't get their food. And no matter the prices. . .that's never an issue with great service and half decent food but yea. . .we good. . .✌️

So I went online to Vallejo Community Group page because I was hurting for. Meat and three with Mac and cheese. This was recommended as a local spot that could give me what I wanted. They did not disappoint! Large portion that will be three meals for me. And I added a side of cabbage that was tender but not wilted with smoked sausage. Baked macaroni that still had body to it. Delicious candied yams. And three large pork ribs. I am diabetic so I'm used to low sodium and it was a wee bit too much for me, but the flavor was on point. And next time I'll get the bbq sauce on the side, I liked the flavor of the ribs as they were. Another plus, no long wait for the food. Hubs was gone and back before I missed him. Open, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

What a joke. I laughed when I opened up our containers because why are the portions so small? for how much this cost i’m embarrassed. Shame on Ruby Jewels. Straight up robbing the community. Greedy. Their food is nothing special. Macaroni was hella salty. Tri-tip was chewy and unappetizing. Avoid this place unless you wanna get scammed & disappointed

Always loved the food whenever I'd go. The candy wings &mac are fire, my fave things to order here. The tri-tip is tender, juicy. I dont like the cornbread bc it has cinnamon in it. Garlic noodles, too mushy &oily. Although I really like the food here, I'm rating this one star bc the CATERING IS A RIP OFF! Since I've eaten here a few times &enjoyed the food I thought it'd be a good idea to have him cater for my mom's 50th birthday. We ordered only tri-tip (we had chicken &sides catered elsewhere) for a party of 150 people. We ordered for 150 knowing it wouldn't be that many attending bc we wanted MORE THAN enough. I don't remember how much he charged (my dad/brother paid for it) but for a fact was around or over $600. We sent my Unk to pick it up &he comes back with a full pan size that was NOT full or filled to its size. The plan was to let the party self serve but once the tritip came we had to serve our guests ourselves bc we knew it wouldn't be enough for everyone who was already there. Everyone literally had one or two SMALL slices each &there were only about 50 people when we started to serve the food. My brother called dude &let him know that we're missing a pan so he drops off HALF pan size to the party. HALF A PAN THO???!!! This was hella embarrassing!!!!! People wanted more tritip than we were serving &they were also able to see that it was running out so fast!! NEVER WILL ORDER CATERING FROM HIM AGAIN!!!!!

I definitely will not put my Holiday Meal fate in someone else's hands!!! A meal on the run with a little adventure is fun . But I can go on and on. My mother loves this place but the third year is the last year! The first year the food was great, but my husband bit into a thumbtack! The second year the food was great but not all sides promised were included in the order. So this year I decided not do sides just get a smoked turkey. Well the turkey was so tough , my husband had to cut pieces so small it looked like we went to a Taqueria for Thanksgiving! The turkey tasted like a smoked football. The turkey was stuffed with carrots and celery that was still hard and crunchy! I have attempted to contact this place to share my experiences,there is never even a comment or contact attempts to know my concerns were acknowledged. I guess business is so good that they don't need mine!
Ruby Jewels catering is absolutely amazing!!! Jason definitely knows what he's doing. I hired Ruby Jewels to cater my son's 30th birthday celebration this pass weekend and when I tell you the food was delicious the service was nothing other then amazing. My phone has been going crazy with people taking about how good the food was. That chicken though was firealone with everything else. I will diffidently be hiring Ruby Jewels again.

This is a must in the city of Vallejo. The food is a staple of the greatness that comes out of Vallejo. The flavor of the bbq compliments the rub and Smokey flavor produced by Chef Drip’s G Stacks Smoker. The love that is poured into the preparation of my meal put a smile on my face as big as the Chef’s when he personally served my seafood plate with lobster tempura and an excellent macaroni and cheese. I also order the bbq plate with all the trimmings, yams, greens, and potato salad. Thank you for an amazing experience for my San Diego pallet. You are one of one.
