We looked up reviews and took a drive here on a Sunday. The staff are wonderful, the restaurant is clean, lots of customers dining in and taking to go. The food was really good. We will be back.

Highly disappointing. Been wanting to try this place for a long time due to the pictures and positive reviews. They've got great presentation as you can see from the picture, but the food was completely lacking in flavor. The burgers were clearly frozen patties with zero seasoning. Even the brown gravy was bland. Also not sure what the steamed cabbage and broccoli was all about. Never had that with Loco Moco. I'll give one extra star for the macaroni salad which was pretty decent.

Did not disappoint. Ramen beats several top ramen shops in SF and Jtown. Lucky for Us to have a decent island bite in the neighborhood. Clean, spacious and ample parking in the rear. Prices not bad as well.

Been here a couple of times for lunch and the food and service are great. Not to mention that the restaurant is always very clean. The portions of food are a good size and the price is very reasonable. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area.

Just went here the other day for dining in. They have tables spaced out really well. The service was great and the food came out pretty fast. They have generous portions- got the chicken katsu plate and my wife got the spice ramen and everything tasted really good. It was actually too much food to eat and we took almost half of it home with our kids meals as well. Great spot to get your Katsu fix on.

This review is for the Tonkotsu ramen. The best in Vallejo, in my opinion. I live in Napa have been known to drive to Vallejo for this particular ramen. Napa has some good ramen (2 places only, that come to mind) but they don't have the comfort level of Sunshine's ramen. I've never met a bowl of ramen I haven't liked, but there are massive ranges. Tonkotsu ramen from Sunshine is way up on the umami meter. The chashu is sublime as is the egg. Both are worth doubling down on. And service is fast and friendly.

This is long overdue but I finally got to it. When I first visited the new restaurant I first tried out their chicken BBQ, typical BBQ chicken nothing out the ordinary but when I tried their fried fish I immediately fell in love with it. I've had Hawaiian BBQ throughout the Bay Area but this one hands down always takes 1st place when it come to their fish. This is the only place I come to get my Hawaiian BBQ fix now.
