Absolute worst Thai food experience. Food looks good online, but was disgusting once we received it. Not one family member finished their meal. $70 thrown in the trash.

It's our first time going in here. The sushi is the excellent and the tonkatsu ramen is the best. Would go here for special days.

Came here for the shabu. Vallejo/Benicia area is a food desert in terms of GOOD options. Yes, there are a lot of restaurants, but quality over quantity okay? I have to agree with another review, this restaurant does have a bit of an identity crisis. Shabu, Thai, and sushi seems like a lot, but I only came for the shabu so here we go. It was my first time here and for a place in Hiddenbrooke I was expecting the decor to be a lot nicer. It looks old and outdated like Ikea from the 2000s decor? I digress. It was just a lot dingier than expected. Nothing to look at.Got there at 12:15 and ordered maybe 10 minutes later. The service is quite slow. Nothing but water was brought to our table by 12:45. There was only 1 other table there, and we were getting HANGRY up in there. We debated ordering an appetizer but at this point it would have taken another 30 minutes. The sauces were brough to us at 12:55 and then the vegetables and the meat arrived after 10 minutes. Their goma dare (sesame sauce) is made in house and is super thin, it tasted okay but wished it was a little thicker. They also give you very little sauce like the saucer wasn't even 1/2 filled. They cut the meat fresh per order, but it was a whole ordeal because they had to plug in the meat slicer take out the meat yada yada, it took FOREVER.The broth options are a little disappointing. They only have tonkatsu, spicy tonkatsu and sukiyaki and it's $4 per person for broth which I don't really understand. I got the spicy tonkatsu and it was good, just not my preference for shabu. My friend and I got 2 different broths and were charged that + the cost of the meat. I wish I took a picture of the shabu menu because it's completely separate than the regular menu. We both got the American wagyu and it was $35. It was a good amount of meat. The veggies that come with the set are just carrots, beech mushrooms and cabbage. Pretty lackluster, no tofu either ): but you can order things on the side but at $4 an order we did not! Will we come back? Maybe? I do shabu at home pretty often but it's nice to have it and not have to wash the dishes or cross a bridge! Hoping their sauces and service improve. Maybe if they have a station dedicated for meat slicing it would be better, but I know they just started serving shabu so I'm willing to try it again!

I would not go to a restaurant like this. It has an identity crisis. Nothing is fresh. Why are you a sushi restaurant a Thai restaurant and a shabu shabu and sell ramen. That's an overload and nothing is fresh to keep up with all the ingredients. It was good when it was just a Thai restaurant. Wish you stick to one type.

Excellent tasting food and great customer service. My mom ordered the not so hot curry but it was still too hot. They took it back and made her a whole new dish. Perfect! I had the beef and broccoli very good. The serving sizes are large.

The menu is large but only a small percentage of the dishes are good from our perspective. The soups are good based on very flavorful broth. With that said they were a little thin on the veggies. My Dad ordered shrimp chowmein which was not chowmein but ramen noodles instead with a wierd sweet flavor and only a small amount of shrimp. He sent it back and got CA rolls instead, which he also disliked due to an excessive mayo taste. The other 2 sushi rolls we got were fine (unagi and tuna roll). The teriyaki beef had a strange texture and, again, an overly sweet flavor. We were not thrilled with the food. The atmosphere was cold and loud due to the echo, even though only a few tables were occupied and the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. The service was lacking; we had to ask for table settings and, again, water. They were not busy. Our bill was delivered by someone who looked like they just walked over from the beach in shorts, a T-shirt and flip flops. Considering this was a dual birthday dinner, we left feeling less than satisfied with the overall experience and like we wasted money as we should have gone somewhere else. Extremely underwhelmed with this place; Considering the location and cost, we had higher expectations. We most likely won't go back just for the soup.

Very expensive, small portions and mediocre taste. My food came out AFTER my son was done eating. So...I asked for a box and I'm eating my very expensive fried rice and mixed vegetables with (3)) shrimp that I paid 1.00 per shrimp extra, on the couch in my home. Never again.

I've been here twice now, and the service was lacking. Maybe because we had more than 6 people, there's an automatic 18 % charge to our bill that they felt they didn't need to provide good service idk. Then the food took a very long time, there was only one other party besides ours. When it finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. Maybe the sushi rolls are better?

Having read some negative reviews of this restaurant recently we just wanted to check for ourselves. PreCovid it had been great . It is still good. We had tempura shrimp, Pad See U and yellow chicken curry. The wide noodles were tasty and the chicken a little spicier than you usually get for this dish but it was great. I would not hesitate to return.

This place has a lot of potential, the food is pretentious and overpriced for mediocre quality. The floors were sticky for some reason, it wasnt busy with about 3 tables being served. The locatuon is amazing but the servers could care less that youre there and definitely dont have an inviting feel, just sit down, eat and get out.Vegetarian options: Has several vege options, from mains , side and appetizers.

Tucked away in the Hiddenbrooke community, this thai spot is my go-to when I have a taste for extra spicy basil beef and pad thai. The sake is good and the sashimi is very fresh. Plenty of options to choose from and the kitchen closes around 9:15pm on weekdays (which is great for our community because other spots stop service earlier).

We wanted to try a new sushi bar for lunch without having to go too far out of town. The Loft Thai & Sushi Bar just happened to fall on our radar. The restaurant in itself was very clean & empty. We came during the middle of the day in the middle of the week when everyone should be at work... except us. Upon entering, the place was super smokey inside to a point where my throat became a little soar. I'm guessing it was from the cook intensely grilling up his lunch. We asked the host if he could open the door to air out the place, but he just cranked up the AC instead. After awhile, the air eventually cleared. Food wise, everything was fine. They had a pretty attractive menu consisting of Thai & sushi, thus their name. But today we settled for sushi. Although a bit pricey, even without drinks, everything was prepared fresh with a a beautiful presentation.. The short comings of an engaged staff is the missing 5th star in this review. However, not a deal breaker. May not be our #1 goto spot to cure our sushi craving, but we will keep it as an option.

It’s really cute; clean and fresh looking on the inside. The area looks picturesque too. The Veggie/Vegan sushi was good, maybe a tad too high in cost compared to another place I recently visited. The spring rolls were overcooked and didn’t have the ingredients on the menu, like vermicelli. Service was good.
