Sad to learn they are permanently closing per their Instagram story on November 28th 2023 (selling chairs and tables and all the plants). Not sure what happened, but they will be missed. Great food and nice people each time I went.

What a joy to discover this little gem in Valley Center! I was staying at Harrahs, got tired of the food & noise, and went exploring for something local. I found Magnetic North Farmstand! Loren was so helpful, and he guided us through their offerings & explained which items were gluten free. We ordered the egg salad sandwich, cilantro lime tuna, and a container of their potato salad. My friend & I split the sandwiches so we could each try both. Both sandwiches were great, but the egg salad was top for me! Just the right amount of mayo and great flavoring! The tuna was good too, but needed a bit more moisture. The potato salad was the bomb! I loved the setting. So peaceful & serene. Rustic outdoor seating & some cool music. A great way to spend an afternoon!

10/10 will be returning and recommend to everyone!!! I have recently made big changes to my diet and this gem will now be my go to so I can stay on track. I had the Southwestern salad that had an amazing dressing and yummy chicken! We indulged and had the gluten free pumpkin muffins and when I tell you they were absolutely delicious.They also have an area for cornhole! Lots of seating and parking isn't an issue either. Take a friend or enjoy solo either way its a big YES!!!Dietary restrictions: gluten free

This was a happy surprise!! Great farm stand/restaurant!everything organic and fresh. Cilantro lime tuna was tasty but the egg salad was to die for! Potato salad was not gooey and had a great flavor... Cute tables, shade and music to eat with... they even have gluten free options! Plants for sale and great atmosphere! Definitely a return visit is in order!

Outstanding food, great atmosphere and super friendly people! Great place to grab a delicious healthy meal and relax outside in the beautiful surroundings!! Definitely somewhere I would return to. Cilantro Lime tuna sandwich is fantastic!!

Super cyoo outdoor deli on the side of the road (look for the big "Orchids" lettering on the side of the building). They serve light salads and sandwiches that are premade (served cold). I had the Celestial Caesar Salad with added chicken (pre-grilled, cold) and the Cilantro Lime Tuna Salad Sandwich. The salad was very light and fresh and came with fresh grape/cherry tomatoes, croutons, and shredded Parmesan. The dressing itself had a ton of flavor that fairly resembled the original Caesar's recipe - would definitely order again. The sandwich had great flavor too! The lime and cilantro definitely enhance the tuna, making for a refreshing and exotic bite each time. Would order again, but will look forward to trying the egg salad sandwich next time. Overall great for a quick light meal. Just know that everything is premade, but with the freshest of ingredients!

Valley Center has great hopes for Magnetic North, and it does not disappoint! From the very first time we spoke to Lorne at the stand we have been very excited about this place.Fresh, organic and local, they have put together a dream team of talent and product. I had the Thai salad- it may be the healthiest food known to man, to me it was just plain YUMMY. My friends have gotten the yogurt parfaits and offer a big , I bought 2 for breakfast tomorrow! Plus 2 spring rolls with peanut butter sauce!I love this place mostly due to the lack of pretentiousness that you find so common in farm fresh organic businesses. They are completely transparent about how they're doing business, and are infectious in their excitement about future additions. Coffee and pastries in the early morning will be a welcome addition! Looking forward to the continued success and growth of Magnetic North!

Where do I start?! This farmstand is right off the main road in Valley Center. You'll see a big wholesale orchids sign as well as their entrance signage as you approach the driveway to enter. The parking area is fairly large, so there's certainly room for everyone!First impression is that it's super cute! There are plenty of table as well as seating right at the counter. I also noticed that they provide table/board games. They also have 2 horseshoe pits! As you look around, you'll take notice that most of the tables and shelves at this farmstand have been re-purposed from other things and given new life.I have nothing but amazing things to say about the folks who run this farmstand. Loren, Billy, and Jenny are such great people who love connecting with the community as well as educating everyone on how to improve their own farm and garden. I love that they're so informative and willing to help everyone, as that's rare to find in people these days.They pick produce from their farm up the road each morning to stock the farmstand with fresh fruits and vegetables for you! You can grab vegetables, herbs, and micro-greens to plant in your own garden.At the counter, they have freshly prepared foods as well. Salads, sandwiches, and fresh fruits are just some of the things you'll find. I also recommend trying her heirloom tomato salsa. I loved their roasted spicy version, but the new one she made that has a variety of their heirlooms (and is more orange in color) is A-MAZ-ING!! Next to the counter, they have a fridge that's filled with healthy and refreshing drinks to go with your food.You'll see a huge shelf and table completely stocked with many pantry and bakery items, and they're all sourced locally. You can find dressings, Moe's jams and jellies (and Moe's cowboy crack, which I am addicted to), crackers, snacks, pastries and muffins, and the list goes on. You'll even see some locally crafted lotions and body care. --I'm telling you, this farmstand has it ALL... except for coffee, but I was told there working on that, also!If you're thinking about stopping in, just do it! You won't be disappointed!

We went to the farmstand today and will definitely be back! We had delicious salads for lunch and my kids had baked goods and a pb&j! There was cornhold for the kids and lots of room for them to run around and play. We met Lauren and he was so nice and helpful. Cant wait to go again! We got these cool new melons to try too!

LOVE LOVE this place! It's exactly what Valley Center lacked and desperately needed!! The food is fresh, healthy and delicious. We tried the sweet potato/spinach wraps (divine), potato salad (just right), mild salsa ( really tasty) , purple paradise salad (yum), and maple cookies. The owners are welcoming and friendly. The plants and fresh vegetables for sale make for a beautiful, peaceful environment to enjoy eating there at covered tables or take to go. Either way, a big win. Perfect for on the go/takeout or the ideal place to take family or meet up with a friend. AND it's open DAILY from 11-9!! Now we don't have to go down the grade for excellent food. YAY!
