It’s time to bring your appetite and take a trip to the Oyster Bar which is nicely tucked inside Harrah’s Rincon Resort in Valley Center, CA.The Oyster Bar shares their occupancy with one of Harrah’s fine dining restaurant, Fiore. With about 15 super comfy bar style seatings, it’s a great way to break bread with a group of friends or simply chit chat with your neighbors. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and there wouldn’t be any distress if anyone dined alone.Let’s start off with Oysters on a Half Shell. The Atlantic oysters were absolutely divine. Much smaller than the Pacific oysters, but their tiny size can seas the day!How about a classic bowl of New England clam chowder or indulge in some flavorful Baked Green-Lipped Mussels Casino with bacon lardons, parmesan and breadcrumbs. Delish! For the entrees, we chose the Oyster Bar’s famous Specialty Pan-Roast. Served in a creamy sauce with San Marzano tomatoes, red wine, peppers, along with bountiful of giant shrimp, scallops, clams, Rockfish, and lobster. As if that’s not plenty enough, the dish is served with steamed rice.Wowed by the flavors of the broth that married well with the cream. It’s warm. It’s comforting. But to tackle this mountain of deliciousness, do share it with someone special or skip the appetizers altogether.Left room for dessert? Feel free to exploit the dessert menu from Fiore. Rumor is… the desserts will also leave a mark.Until next time…

Would definitely recommend the scallops and Oscar style for steak additions. And the Mac and cheese as an extra side. Cocktails were excellent and bread basket had a lot of variety.

At 5:00 seating they were out of some menu items. Starters were good (oysters and ahi tuna) . Rib eye was not seasoned at all and was bland. Sides were mediocre. Not as expensive as Vegas but not going back.

My Wife and I split your RibEye.It was more medium than medium-rare but delicious none the same. Pinot Noir was delicious. We had a wonderful time for my birthday dinner. Thank you.

Quality of the food does not match the price. Sent my $70 steak back twice. First it was cold and over cooked, second time was nice and juice and hot, but raw. Meat was transparent, not even close to what I ordered. Got to figure how cook better if you going to charge more.

We waited over an hour for our food - which was awful!!!! I was told they are closing soon to add Gordon Ramsey's new place at Harrahs. It shows!!! Our waitress said they were training cooks and that it why our food was delayed. She was professional however our delayed food was awful. At $160+ I will never again order at a Harrah's restaurant!!!!

Two of us ordered Ribeye steaks. Medium and medium rare. They were both very tough. Thet were like cheap sirloins, not what you would expect from a top steak restaurant for $70. The fish special was supposed to be a type of cod but tasted like tuna fish. The steam clams were the size of a fingernail. Never again !!! The Chinese restaurant next door is a much better choice.

We enjoyed the food however the shrimp tasted frozen in the shrimp cocktail, the crab cakes were delicious . Main course was fantastic, prime rib, cooked the way we like it. The waiter was very attentive. Love the restaurant!

The food was great with the exception of the not so warm mashed potatoes. I couldn't help but notice the ceilings were way overdue for a cleaning. Server was very "robotic". The steaks were very good, perfectly cooked to our individual asking.

Very slow service!

We were given a nice, cozy booth with a Happy Birthday greeting on a little placard. George, our food server, was very courteous and professional. The food was excellent. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Thank you.

Our waiter was very nice, but clearly had not been properly trained for fine dining. It was quite noisy in the restaurant and our server had a hard time hearing us. I had to shout to place my order. I ordered a cocktail and a bottle of wine along with an appetizer and we all placed our entrée orders. All of this at the same time. Not very fine dining, but we went with it with no complaints. The lighting is very dim in the restaurant, but I knew I wanted a French Red. They had two bottles on the list. One for $105 and one for $780. The latter was way out my price range that evening, so I ordered the former. I said the name out loud and pointed to it on the menu for my server. When he arrived with the bottle, he did not have an opener so he kind of just rambled on for a bit while we waited for another server to come over and open it. When the bottle was finally shown to me, I had a hard time seeing the label as we were in a booth and I was furthest away, with the dim lighting.... I wasn't entirely sure it was the correct bottle, so I looked for the wine menu to double check, but it was gone. He'd taken it after we ordered. But I trusted my server and said “OK”. Big mistake. It was the $780 bottle. He apologized and said he would take care of it. About 5 minutes later the manager came over. She was in fine form, shaking with anger, and started shouting at me. Asked if the server presented the wine to me? Yes, he did. Well then, I accepted it, so it was my fault! After about 3 minutes of her yelling at us, and we are in shock at that point, she said she would fix the check just this once even though she's not supposed to, then stormed off. 5 minutes later the returned and announced she had taken $340 off the wine and slammed the check on the table.... Then promptly stormed off again. Add that to bland, chewy food... never again.

I love oysters and couldn't wait to try this place on our trip to Harrahs. We had the Dressed Oysters and mussels in a white wine butter. Everything was delicious. The only reason I don't give five stars is because although I know the process is to wait in line first come first serve due to limited space, there were multiple spots open for long periods of time that we could see and the staff said they were waiting for someone to clean those spots. After about 20-30 minutes the open spots finally got cleaned. You would think with space being so limited they would want to turn over every spot as fast as possible. Otherwise the food and service was good and I would go again!
