Great food!!! Great service!!! Soothing appearance to escape the casino. It can be pricey, but if you're able, it's worth the splurge!!

The food was ok. Enjoyed the steak at the previous steakhouse much better. This one was chewy. The scallops were undercooked. Ahi tuna was ok but the rice was mushy. Would not recommend

We were a large group. 17 of us. The food was very good and presented well. Service was a little slow and not at a level that we were expecting. 2 of the 17 dinners came out late. Many things were missed but rectified by the management. My lobster was tough and replaced with a very fresh and flavorful one. Steaks were all cooked to the temperature we requested. Overall a fun experience, but training of the staff could improve.

Food was amazing but it took an hour to get it. And they no longer give you free bread while you wait for an hour.

Sandi and Ryan stellar customer service. Extremely patient accommodating dietary restrictions with food allergies. Salmon cooked to perfection thank you to the Chef as well. Will return! Thank you!

Food was amazing and the service was even better. Jen went over and beyond to take care of us. She explained all the food options on the menu and made sure everything came out perfect. Thank you for the great hospitality! Will definitely come back again because of Jen.

The Bartender was amazing, the food was ok, I ordered the Specialty Pan Roast, I wanted a fettucini based pan roast with white sauce, but they didn't have one.. the ceviche didn't come with chips but cut up pieces of thin rice cakes, and the wedge salad was just okay. The steak my friend ordered that was supposed to be medium well came out medium rare, and was sent back to cook longer. Nonetheless, the kicker was when we were leaving out there was a cockroach at the hostess station- We were IMMEDIATELY disgusted!! I wanted to throw up all my food and I discarded my leftovers. I showed it to the bartender, she didn't seem surprised, she noted there was an issue with them under the seats... when I requested the Manager, bartender told him we have a "friend" over there.... he looked, I asked him about them- he stated they had been sprayed the night before (Jan 30, 2024), I responded, if y'all sprayed and they are coming out, you have an issue with them & before you say No, I'm in the Housing industry so I know what I'm speaking of, he then agreed there was an issue. I personally was more disappointed than anything that he did NOTHING to try to appease us, make amends- NOTHING! Granted, I wouldn't eat any food there again, but he could've offered a drink, food elsewhere, even an apology... but nothing, nothing, nothing, Customer Service skills completely out the window... mind you I'm not a newby, we have Diamond & Diamond Plus players cards- I made him aware of this & still nothing... made me wonder if we were a different race, would he have catered to us differently. In any event, we will not eat here again. I DON'T do roaches under any circumstances. Where there is one, there are many & I don't play when it comes to my food! Mind you guys- they made no effort to kill the roach- the Manager got on the phone and called someone or somewhere- who knows‍

Don't get any seafood here. Nothing taste fresh. Tastes like the food has been sitting in the fridge/freezer for weeks. Maybe it's because this place is always empty, so it just sits there until an unlucky person orders it off the menu weeks later. And a lot of the items were too salty. The food that wasn't bad was just average. Nothing stood out. The best item was bread and butter, which wasn't even complimentary. For the price, its not worth it. The server was nice and friendly though.

This was my first time dining at Salt & Fin, which is inside of Harrah’s Resort SoCal.I like the decor throughout the restaurant. Sandi and Bjonnie had wonderful customer service!! Very attentive. Very friendly. What we ordered:Fried CalamariCherry Peppers, Lemon, Pickled Cucumber Ranch $17Very crispy. Loved that it also had the tentacles. That Ranch sauce was so good!! We asked for more. Lemon flavor throughout.Pan-Seared HalibutAlaskan Halibut, Jasmine Rice, Baby Bok Choy, Thai Basil & Mango Salsa. $42Halibut was cooked perfectly. Firm but flaky texture. The salsa is fantastic! The Baby Bok Choy had a bitter taste, so my friend couldn’t eat it. Wonderful presentation!Grilled Spanish OctopusJapanese Chimichurri, Roasted Fingerling potatoes, grilled lemon $30I was expecting more of a tender-yet-chewy texture but it was a little more tender than I would have liked. I love octopus and I like it to be a little firm. The Spanish Octopus is fattier and sweeter so I would have liked to taste a little more sweetness. It seemed like there was a little too much of a vinegar taste. I also would have liked a little spice. The Fingerling potatoes could have used a tad more salt. Wonderful presentation though.Banana Crème BrûléeBanana Custard, Caramelized sugar and fresh Berries $11The Banana Custard was very creamy. The crunchy top could have been crunchier. It would have been an even better presentation if they blowtorched it at the table. But, I like that kind of thing lol My friend would have liked a regular custard instead of Banana custard. They have no restrooms in the restaurant so you’ll have to find one in Harrah’s.

The servers and the ambience earn 5 stars. The food was 0.5. Honestly, I wanted to give this experience 2 1/2 stars but two is all I can give. The entirety of our meal is not posted on here. I will give you a general rating which item. Please keep in mind, this is our 4th try of salt and fin. I was willing to try to give them another try because the manager was so courteous but, I would not have returned, unless being comped. The little neck clams were full of sand and overly salty 0 stars. Bread basket was good 3 stars. Fried calamari, oily, overly salty. No dressing needed 2 stars. Pan-seared scallops were okay lightly seasoned, overly priced 2.5 stars. Grilled salmon 2.5 no seasoning, no crispy salmon skin. Served upside down, so the oils from the salmon made the skin soggy. Panseared halibut came with bok choy, mango salsa, jasmine rice. One star. The halibut was OK but again they served it skinside down which made the skin soggy. Jasmine rice was overcooked and served using a ice cream scoop. Rice was completely mushy and no decent person would ever eat that kind of rice, they should never have served it. Mango salsa was tasty enough two stars bok choy was sad. No seasoning at all. The picture added below, it was supposed to be bok choy with mushrooms, soy sauce, but it just tasted like land bok choy with mushrooms no seasoning. Honey, glazed carrots, one star. It just tasted like butter and salt on the carrot. No other flavor except salt. The pan seared squash with herbs, tasted just like butter and salt only. One star. Cauliflower melody, half a star was like steamed cauliflower with a pinch of salt. Miso glazed black cod, half a star, seasoned well, but burnt. 50% of the fish was in edible. Customized virgin drink for my kiddo, five stars the bartender did a great job. Two traditional old fashions, five stars not really difficult to mess up. We ended up talking to the manager about everything. She thanked us for the chance to try again. She wants to improve and said that they had a new chef. Overall, I think they just need , someone who knows what they're doing in the kitchen.
