A favorite breakfast place for years. Perfect laid-back spot for brunch. Classic Cafe menu, with great sides. Very nice staff, too.

We did drop off catering for a memorial celebration and the food was excellent and beautiful. At the suggestion of Sydney, the catering supervisor, we went with only finger foods which everyone loved. Highly recommended.

Third time was sadly not the charm. My first experience was a to go order, a lentil soup that featured a bug at the bottom. I disregarded this as I really wanted to like my local brunch place. Second time, the food took forever, but tasted fine. Today my server was super accommodating in finding me an outlet so I could do work. Harvest Moon has free wifi published, but don't try using it. My server was amazing, he found me a space to work on a quiet Sunday morning, I'd purchased and tipped almost $40 for a solo brunch. Then comes the rude manager (i'm guessing that was his role) who asks me to remove my plug from the outlet....thanks for the customer service. I pray my server gets my tip, and don't worry I'll go to Starbucks or elsewhere where my business is appreciated! I didn't say anything, as I'd hate the one person who offered amazing service to be reprimanded.

I have nothing but good things to say about things to say about this place. I always get their catering food for all my events. They email my orders and go thru all my details with them. They always confirm everything with me, and they make everything absolutely perfect. They have a have a pdf menu that they send over via email that details everything you can get. They also provide local delivery, so you do not have to worry about transporting the food on your important days. The sandwiches are large and always made so fresh. They put the most delicious and freshest ingredients in them. I will always order from here! Check them out for any event you have you won't regret it.

Harvest moon is a decent albeit more pricier cafe in valley village. There Cobb salad is average at best, and is pricey at $20 It should be worth noting the interior is incredibly inviting and a great place to do some work or have a quick meeting. Their pastries also look halfway decent. I ordered the cobb salad. My biggest grip being that one of the meats (either chicken or bacon) was inappropriately sweet. I've never had a Cobb like this, and although unique it doesn't work. They either used honey turkey or smoked maple wood bacon. Minus the meat, everything else about the salad was okay. Questionable choice of ingredient and price bogs down this review .

Harvest Moon is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic food, amazing pastries, and a wonderful staff. I absolutely love coming here, and will continue to do so on the regular. Overall, I highly recommend it. My one complaint, and it's a pretty valid one, is that the coffee they serve here is terrible. I get the feeling they don't have an actual barista, and instead have the whole staff on coffee duty, which leads to some weird results. More than once I've gotten a drink made incorrectly by basic coffee house standards. Examples: Cappuccino with no foam, a latte with lukewarm milk instead of steamed, and once I ordered an iced latte which was just a hot latte poured over ice which immediately melted and made a lukewarm watery concoction with no flavor. It feels like they don't have someone running their espresso maker who's trained specifically for it. For premier coffee prices (around 4.50-6.50) they really need an upgrade in this department, especially considering their pastries are so amazing. But again, the place overall is fantastic. If they can look into better coffee service it'll skyrocket them above every other business like it in town.

This food here is always consistent. But the bacon is the star of the show. Get the bacon! Lol. The service is wonderful. The sista (brain fart on her name right now) is so dope. She's friendly and gives such good vibes! Try the burger! Pro tip get the French toast but well done.
