The view of the airport runway from the restaurant is unbeatable. There are ducks in a little pond. Lots of outdoor seating. Great bar with many options. Please squadron come back. I, nay, we miss you. I promise never to talk badly of you ever again. I miss your 1950's airtime decor, with Dean Martin playing or something other like big band. Please come back. Please.

Experience was truly an evening of beautiful French during the war time with sand bagged lined walls as you walk down the stairs with planes landing and taking off from Van Nuys Airport outside beyond the open patio dining area.♡♡ BEST FRENCH ONION SOUP EVER !!!!EVERYTHING was cooked to PERFECTION and I was so relaxed, staff was wonderful, and the French Dip Sandwich was so tender and flavorful.BEFORE I had Dessert I ordered two more soup/sandwich meals for my husband and I to have the next night at home and I also ordered two meals to be packed up to take home for my elderly parents to enjoy with us.I wish they were still open and that the dining room was not closed because I would be ordering our lunches and dinners several times a week so Wonderful is the food prepared.Five stars is the best rating a person can give so I would give them seven stars.♡♡ Praying for pick up and delivery to be an option ? right away !!!!

I took my father-in-law back in July 2019. I got the Salmon bruschetta, the boys got a French dip sandwich & the fish and chips. You couldn't go wrong with the sandwich, except the meat was really dry but that's what the dip is for right?? The Salmon bruschetta was probably one of the worst meals I've had in my life. The salmon and pasta were beyond overcooked and it tasted very rubbery. I picked at my meal while the boys ate and just ate at home. I am willing to give them another try since there was a large wedding party / wedding rehearsal and they were giving them a hard time. Hopefully not too bad but we left halfway through. I will give them another shot soon!

This place has really turned itself around. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is good. These themed restaurants are getting harder and harder to keep open as tastes and demographics change, so go to the 94th often and spend money!... The location is fantastic and the ww1 bombed out farmhouse is just too cool.. get the prime rib

Not only did the bartender, Junior, do an amazing job as a bartender, he also helped deliver a baby at the same time!!! A quality drink, a smile and a new child!!! All in a days work. This place breathes life, literally. Go there and give Junior a pat on the back! Or should I say, "DR JunioR."GODSPEED.from, A happy customer.P.s. u should hire that sexy guy yogi back.

Really "tucked into" a corner of Van Nuys, this former French mini-mansion, complete with a bombed out side, is an appealing, important reminder of WWII. The view of the airfield is worth the trip. The food is decent, as is the service with regulars at the bar obviously the most welcome.
