I placed an order over the phone and confirmed price. When I arrived I was charged an additional $24.00. I had promised the order for an office party and did not have time to replace it. On top of the additional price, the food was greasy and not authentic at all, beans were from a can. Very disappointed.

I came in today to buy bread. It was pricey 75 cents a piece but it was delicious. Really good. Unfortunately the service was terrible. The two ladies up front have no manners, they had grouchy faces, and no good customer service. The bread would be the only reason I would go back.

I've been coming to this bakery and restaurant for a few years. My favorite itens are the bean and cheese pupusas and the platanos. Yummy! Pupusas are a homemade small corn tortilla filled with beans, pork, chicken or beef and queso cheese. They are grilled until slightly crispy on the outside. The platanos are grilled plaintains with usually a little butter and sugar on top. This particular place makes the best South American food. Their bakery is traditionally Guatemalan desserts like sweet bread, with various jelly toppings. The price is reasonable based on the quality and portion of food they give the customer.Definitely worth the drive to Van Nuys to try it out. A+ food!! ???Vegetarian options: I got a bean and cheese pupusa and grilled platanos, which are both without meat.

It was my first time eating there, the lady who took the order she didn't give me knife, ice, and napkins. When I ordered the food, she told that the food was on the counter she didn't like it. And I told her that she has to say that she like the food, so she can sell it the food. When I asked the options she told she was from El Salvador. Another thing the hair chair was dirty and floor too. Today was the first time I went to eat there. I was disappointed, the girl took care of me when I was asking about the food options, she told me that she did not like what is on the trays, it is assumed that if she is serving she has to offer and say what she sells, and not be saying what What he doesn't like, there was a man and a girl serving but they left, I don't recommend this place because it is dirty. It's a shame that a girl touched her phone while my wife was preparing my food. I have been working in a restaurant for more than 7 years and I know what you can't do while working with food. They don't even know how to wash their hands. What a shame they don't care about the health of their clients.

I think .75 cent per bakery are too expensive the sweet bread is good but the quality has been decreased in the last 2 years beginning of 2020 they were 3 for a Dollar now .75 cents each lol good luck I will never go back I will go to Vallarta from now an on sweet bread is 40 cents there come on
