I tried this place for the first time today and got the crab fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and gyozas. Everything was so good and flavorful, will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed take-out from Tawan Thai again and the fried rice remains exceptionally delicious - along with the Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles) which was full of crunchy, colorful veggies. Left-overs were just as good the next day. Grateful to have this lovely eatery nearby and look forward to trying more items on their menu.

Tried this place for lunch and it was pretty good. I frequent the other Thai place in the next plaza over but this one is better. My friend ordered the red curry chicken and I ordered the noodles. Tasted the red curry and it was great. Think I will try that next time. Loved the noodles as I typically order pad thai. Papaya salad was light and tasty. Would definitely go back and try other things on the menu!

The meals were average. We ordered Tom Yum Noodle Soup, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and pineapple curry. The curry was too spicy for me, the Pad Thai and Thai were average since I didn't taste anything special from them. Somehow disappointed by the Tom Yum Noodle Soup since all I found there was the rice Noodle, some eat sprouts, and a few pieces of fish cake. But the biggest thing that disappointed me and made me decided not to comeback again is that the people serving in the kitchen did not wear their mask properly. The lady who looked like she was in the major responsibility to cook the food had her mask down around her chin all the time, not covering her mouth at all, and she did talk to others while preparing the meal. The other lady there took off her mask to talk to her co-workers, latter finally put her mask back on maybe because she realized that I was looking at her. I would said at the time of pandemic, that makes me feel very unsafe, so I definitely won't comeback.

Only got a pic of my Thai tea but the food was absolutely amazing! Got the spicy chicken wings, chicken chow mein, Tom yum soup, and vegetable egg rolls. Even when I reheated the food, it was still just as good as when I first received it. Small little shop but they're nice and have yummy food. Also, the Thai tea was just too good. Even if you're not hungry for Thai food, come in and just have their Thai iced tea! It not sweet or watered down like other places. It's the perfect balance and so so good.

This is by far my favorite Thai spot. I found this gem down the street from my home and it's been awesome every time. The ladies who cook and take orders are sweet and the food is A-1.

Everything I've ever had at this place is amazingly fresh and flavorful and they never skimp on portions. I highly recommend the Hawaiian shrimp, seafood soup, salmon teriyaki...just to name a few. Prices are great as well.

The reason I am writing a review for Tawan Thai is the excellent service that I got, and also the excellent food. Now I have never really liked brown rice, I know it's healthier than white rice. So I decided to try brown rice with extra garlic, I could not believe how good this rice was, because brown rice has always tastes like cardboard when I ordered it out. But this brown rice was outstanding with that garlic. I took some to my daughter in Long Beach just to trick her because she's always talking about how horrible brown rice is and that she will never ever eat it, because I told her I found some good brown rice. So I took her this brown rice with extra garlic and never told her it was brown rice. She tasted it and said oh this is so good, mom this is so good I really really like this. I said, I thought you didn't like brown rice? She stopped chewing with her mouth open and said this is not brown rice I started laughing and said it's most definitely is brown rice. So I told her you owe me $100 because I made a bet with you that brown rice was good. We both started laughing because I never made a bet with her. So this is the reason that I am taking the time to write a review. This is the only thing that I've ever ordered from them because, I have a problem once I find something that I like I keep ordering it over and over and over. I also bought the appetizer crab balls, for my cousin she said it was good. And I've ordered other food from there beside brown rice for other family members who really did like the food. My FAVORITE Thai restaurant in The Valley! Everything is cooked to perfection, the portions are very generous, and the friendly employees take special care to pack it all so neatly. I've ordered take-out on a regular basis for a while now, and I've always been 100% satisfied. Try this place -- you'll be delighted with their delicious, made-from scratch dishes, appetizers, and THE BEST Thai iced coffee around!
