Delicious food, clean location and excellent service. Ordered the wonton soup and it's the best I've had! Unlike other spots that just put carrots and lettuce this one has mushroom, shrimp and broccoli too!

My dad and I just ordered some takeout from here and everything was incredible. The chicken, shrimp and fried rice were moist, full of flavor, and packed with sauces and vegetables. Dan's garlic fried rice with shrimp is a MUST. We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken (bomb) and the orange chicken (bomb) and the kung pao shrimp (incredible). Highly recommend! I hope their quality stays like this forever!!!

Ordered via a third party delivery service, so I'll give it a second star with the thought in mind that the reason it may have been mediocre was because of the delivery wait time. Now, for the food taste. There is none. This is terrible. The wontons in the soup are mushy. The orange zest chicken (ordered spicy) was not spicy at all and had the texture of mashed potatoes. The chow mein tasted like air. Yes, exactly what you are thinking, nothing. No flavor. Not a damn seasoning taste in sight. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before ordering. Never again. Now I wish my delivery person would have taken this opportunity to steal this order. Would have probably been happier if it never made it to my house. For shame.

Thought I reviewed before, but it's the second large order I placed with them. Both times, the food was ready when ordered, hot, tasty. Friendly staff, discounts for cash payers. I just wish they provided plates or cups. Really good Chow Fun :)

The food is kind of average. The orange chicken is super super sweet and mostly breading. The egg rolls that are standard here are filled with potato and cream cheese instead of vegetables. It's a very very bland egg roll. We ordered chicken with broccoli and we instead received beef broccoli- which is a bummer because we don't eat beef. We did a take out order but the restaurant looked clean. The hot entrees are put into plastic containers so that's also a bummer. There wasn't really anything that was amazing sadly. No one out of the 5 of us that ordered finished our meal and the potato cheese egg rolls got tossed.
I ordered Dans Kitchen through Uber Eats on Christmas Day. What a disappointment! First, I should say that they got the Orange Chicken and the Eggplant with Fish were ok. That's why I gave two stars. I ordered moo shu pork. They did not include the gooseneck sauce or the crepes. Thanks for nothing. I ordered the Imperial soup. It would be fine if you enjoy a shakers worth of salt in your soup. I ordered Yang Chow Fried Rice. The description read BBQ pork's and shrimps. No mention of the carrots and peas that I was inflicted with. The other rice offerings mentioned carrots and peas so I thought this one doesn't have them. Maybe the menu was wrong or maybe they tossed them in out of habit. Either way , I did not appreciate them. I ordered Har Gow. Where was the dipping sauce? I. Didn't ever bother complaining to Uber Eats for a credit. I won't ever I go in person or order from Dan's Kitchen again.

This is a great Chinese restaurant in Van Nuys. The walnut shrimp is great like, crispy and sweet at the same time. And the hot and sour soup is savory and if you're into tofu, the mapo tofu is surprisingly good like, the tofu is super soft and the sauce is tasty. Overall, it's a nice spot to check out.
