I ordered papusas on special for me and family, my Wife ate her papusa and spit out a finger nail that poked her lip she was disgusted. When I ate my papusa it was dry and tasted like it’s been sitting for days and I found a piece of white plastic in my food I would never eat here again !

Found this place on Google and we decided to try it because of the high rating and the pictures. Boy we’re we lied to. This place is a 3 stars at best. We asked if the aguas frescas were from a mix or real tamarindo. We were told it was real tamarindo. We ordered three aguas frescas and we knew on the first sip that the server/cook lied. It’s obvious that tamarindo is much better than the liquid or powder mix there was no need to lie. I ordered tacos de papa and they were not good. The papa was orange like it had been mixed or seasoned with something. They were drizzled with sour cream some cheese sprinkled over the top. My son liked the Asada quesadilla. The other meals weren’t very good. The place has no AC.Kid-friendliness: No kid sized meals or kids menu.Parking: There are a few small parking spots. Was afraid my car would get hit.

Incredible service, food is always top notch PLUS some of the best prices in Van Nuys, my co-workers and I can't recommend this place enough. We are constantly making our lunch runs here and we love it every-time.

An amazing find! Goldmine. I’ve been I. lA for years and this is easily the best Mexican and most authentic Mexican spot I’ve been too. I had the Caldo de Res and it was delicious. Everything resembled a true homecooked meal ??

If you're looking for authentic Mexican in the valley this is the place. After a lot of bad Mexican food, my friends and I were looking for our new spot. We came here and immediately knew. The prices are good, the food is phenomenal, and the service is so friendly. Everything the tacos, caldos, y huevos rancheros were amazing. The winner for us was the horchata though, best horchata I've ever tasted. We'll definitely be back!
