Dinner on the lovely patio with heaters. Perfect for a cool spring evening. Dinner was delicious. Lamb chops, baked potato...a personal favorite, citrus salad and grilled salmon. All delicious. Dessert...chocolate/peanut butter crunch cake with peanut butter & chocolate chip ice cream. Charcoal is a favorite. Sarah and Shawn...thank you for making our evening so special.
The Sirloin and Sausage Sunday Supper was terrific. Whipped mozzarella with marinated cherry tomatoes and sourdough toast points was a great starter. Collard Greens salad had great crunch and flavors. The sides were perfect accompaniments, a decadently rich creamed corn, velvety mac and cheese, refreshing cole slaw. We have been to Charcoal many times before and this was probably the least favorable experience for us from a service perspective. We saw our server 3 times, to take our order, and give use the bill/ come back and swipe our credit card. There were many people that kept walking by our table and just kept staring out our empty plates. It was probably 10 minutes after we were done eating before someone cleaned the table or came to check on us. Mind you, our server walked by our table...read full review
