Attractive and intriguing space, the kitchen and bakery sits behind the service counter so there’s lots to see. Pricey, the menu tells you that, but portions I don’t think portion sizes make up for it. Pastry and bread were both good. Plenty of cabinet items. There’s coffee bar seating and a very large relaxed out door courtyard. Pleasant!
I have been here many times including when it is super busy and the staff are always happy and helpful. It’s a busy place that feels like a well oiled engine.The food is great especially the baked goods. Venice prices so nothing shocking for the neighbourhood.Minimal indoor eating space but the courtyard is nice with flexible seating for large and small groups. I like eating inside when I am alone. I literally want you to hand me one of those delicious little morsels of goodness on a napkin, I will hand you the exact amount I owe you and walk out the door. Unfortunately I've now walked away three times because I don't want to wait in the 30 minute line for the full experience when all I'm after is you 5 star deliciousness.
