I will stand on this until I die. This is THE best spot for tacos, burritos, etc. In the Avenue!!! It’s affordable, quick, and convenient!!! $9 burritos!!? Its so juicy! Perfect! As a local, trust me on this! You do not want to skip on this spot!

First off, know Angie's is located @ Red Barn Liquor. No malice though; it's always a hoot when you bring someone and they ask, "We're going to a liquor store for tacos?"That being said, I absolutely love their tacos de cabeza. Best quality to value for item received, bar none and have yet to order anything else from here. Many people I've brought swear by the lengua as well. You can order from one of the friendly people at the window outside the entrance to Red Barn or go to the counter inside. I always use the window, so have no idea if the counter experience/menu is different.I ding one star for the atmosphere as there is only 1 plastic table adjacent the window that, depending on your parties' physical properties, will not accommodate everyone. I tend to order to go unless it's a slow day and with a small group. The other star is due to the horror show of a parking lot that is but a few steps from the ordering window and table... I detailed that below.Parking: Good luck...Small spots in a microscopic lot with 2 entrances: one along the perpetually busy Ventura Avenue and the other on a tiny side street that is blind on one side. The lot is generally occupied by work trucks & SUVs that have no business being parked in mostly designated compact spots.I'd advise parking a block over on the Avenue and walking. Last I was there, a huge work truck loaded with a small earth mover on an equally sized trailer blocking in half the lot only moved when 3 cars failed to squeeze by them and just sat there, bumpers inches away from the trailer. This is not uncommon. It is entertaining if you happen to be eating at the table, though.

This place is great!! Food is delish, people are helpful & very friendly, service is fast. Homemade salsas, I love the bean & cheese burritos that's what I order every time I go there, with the green salsa yum! The prices are great, if you have a chance stop by and grab some yummy food you won't regret it.Vegetarian options: I'm vegetarian so I eat here a lot the bean & cheese burrito is the best they give you chips in every order so with the green salsa it's the best, beans are perfect!!!Parking: If it's the weekend after 5pm parking is scarce so try to go before the hours between 5-7 you'll thank me later.?

Best breakfast burritos and salsa verde! If I'm going to pay $9 for a burrito it better taste like heaven! Nd so far this has topped them all! Other meals are so good too! Their albondigas on Thursdays are fire! It's worth it! Located on the avenue at Red Barn Liquor with Sammy!

I've been going here for years. One of the last places locally you can get a great meal with reasonable prices as well along with great customer service. Everyone here is nice and accommodating. Whether you call a order in or order at the window. A hardworking small business that puts heart into their craft and community. Highly recommend over Lalos, Maggies, Johnny's, Corrales.

I live a block away and am so glad I have so many options to walk to. This is the closest. Angie's has the biggest burritos, and meltiest quesadillas on the North Avenue. Best part is, they have the lowest prices too. Place is addicting. They have amazing salsa verde, and a TON of different, delicious desserts. Try the chocolate cake or Tres Leches. Wow. A must try, people.
