Really disappointed. Waited in line for 30 minutes on free cone day, only to be told that they don’t give out any non dairy flavors. Waste of time, and very sad. Not posted anywhere either wasn’t notified until I was at the front one the line, trying to order. I am unable to have dairy, so this location excludes people with allergies/dietary restrictions. Only caters to people who can have dairy. Very very disappointed.

Probably the best brand of ice cream out there! I like my milk and cookies after dinner. Excellent location, right in the heart of downtown and next to a movie theater. Great service provided by the 2 guys up front. I do wish take out cups had lids for milkshakes.

The reason for the 3 stars is they one they were out of vanilla and two the ice cream did they have tasted like freezer it has like chucks of ice in it so not too good. The servers were really nice though and very informative, the place itself is fairly small and kinda of warm temperature wise only a couple tables inside and the tables outside had no chairs. I like the tonight dough ice cream dough

So gross. Should be shut down immediately. Trash on the floor, mold in the ice cream freezers and abonus spider to top this nightmare off. It also appeared that both young employees were high as a kite. Run as far and as fast as you can. Pretty sure there was awee bit of food poisoning resulting from this ice cream debacle. Learn from our mistake and do not eat here!Ben and Jerry would be horrified to know their product is being treated this way!!!

As well as Ben & Jerry's corporate.The store is filthy.The dipping cabinets are filthyAll the ice cream is heat shocked (ice crystals).The staff is rudeMany of the flavors on the flavor board are not available All the prepack items are covered with frost. Which is a sign of a product that has lost temperature and refrozen. Thus, heat shock (ice crystals)No hot fudge as featured on the menu board. They us a "magic shell" type product instead.Lack of appropriate containers.It is unacceptable for employees to bring their E-bikes behind the counter through the prep area to the back room.There is a bike rack right outside the door.This is just off the top of my head.Ben & Jerry's has always been a high quality product and is not being represented well at this location.I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe recent power outage, weak employee pool?. But, after reading the reviews above this isn't a one off situation.Note, this review is coming from someone with experience in training franchisees in store management,product quality control and employee relations at another ice cream company.There are many alternatives for a good ice cream experience here in Ventura. How this store stays open is beyond me.

This place is gross. Place was super dirty and they had no flavors available. Finally picked strawberry and it was all melted licked it and a long black hair was laying across the ice cream. Disgusting.
It was really dark in there. Windows on the ice cream freezer were foggy. One side had ice cream the other was not marked, it had sorbets. Pass on this location. I imagine they get there business from the movie theater next door.

Great ice cream, and customer service was amazing!! I myself am a picky person so i take time with ordering and customer service stays great. Wonderful flavors, the only thing stopping this getting is a 5 is it kinda looks dead inside. It could definitely use a remodel

Ice cream was great, but the place looked very depressing. Some lights were off and some things on the menu were taken off. It looked like it was closing down. Also, the bins they take the ice cream out of were so dirty… honestly, I don’t know what to say. The kids working there looked so sad and droopy and just made the vibe worse. Wouldn’t recommend but if you are just going to get ice cream and leaving it doesn’t really matter.

Disappointing. The store seems run down, the ice cream display case was disorganized, one flavor we ordered was too melted for the employee to scoop so we couldn’t get that flavor and they were out of waffle cones (which we later noticed was mentioned in other reviews). The place just seems like the owner hasn’t put any effort into it in a long time. For how busy downtown is, it’s curious why the only ice cream place isn’t in better shape. Obviously the ice cream we could order tasted good but that’s the only good thing about this place.

Ice cream shop but it was so hot in the store. Couldn't even sit inside but luckily it was much cooler outside. They also had very limited options at the time, a whole section of the freezer was empty (maybe malfunctioning idk). And unfortunately, the chairs and tables were sticky so probably not cleaned that often.
