Came here to celebrate my mom's and grandpas birthday with a party of 12 and the service was amazing!! Thank you to the manager, Kristy, for accommodating us super last minute. All our food was exceptional, everything came out on time and well cooked. Also try the mojitos, hands down my favorite drink with fresh fruit, super tasty .

The service was immaculate. Food was delicious, and the waiters are the most friendly people I have ever met in my entire life. Totally recommend, 5/5.

No one ever served us at our table. After about 15 minutes we just left. This location feels super sketchy... A ton of people were literally just hanging out in the bathroom (???). Random people sitting in booths in the restaurant not eating or drinking... Just sitting on their phone. This place feels like a drug den or something. Do not come here.

The food was cold, and the prime rib was dry over cooked. When asked it be cooked medium well. Waited a long time before getting our food. Salmon was dry, and baked potato was cold.

They took forever for our food we never got our soups and never got refills and I had to return my food. My steak was really over cooked. My husband ate his food before I got anything. It was just horrible

Came here on a whim, hadn't been in years. Food was great, we ordered the potato skins, the whiskey steak and kids quesadillas. Happy hour ends at 6pm and order the potato skins (6) for $8. The kid's quesadilla was huge and very tasty- my son enjoyed it. The whiskey steak was cooked perfectly, the cesar salad portion was generous. For drink I had the margarita also on happy hr for $6. The waitress was also very nice & helpful...

This is a good spot to come and enjoy steak. The staff were welcoming, and I appreciate the variety of food they have. If you get a Rib Eye, the garlic button is a great option to eat it with.

I would give service a 0 if they had it , but overall I was there before 8pm ? the hosts was nice and sat us, but after that no one approached us for about 15 to 20 minutes, then finally a waiter came up to our table saying sorry I didn’t see you guys here ? like are you serious !!! After we had 3 different servers it was like no one wanted to take our order, spoke to the manager but she was definitely no help. Manager acted like she didn’t care and said what do you want me to do about it… ? awful experience

A bit too brightly lit for a dinner restaurant. The waiter was total MIA at times but still did manage to provide us good service. The atmosphere though definately calls for a much more economical menu pricing. If they're gonna charge like an exclusive place at least make to feel like its worth it. It felt we we at Denny's.Clean up the restrooms too, they had a bad funk going on!

The food of course, steak For my husband it's almost any fish dish. For me, I loved the crab cakes you used to have. Oh my they were the best. I wish they would come back. The bread and real butter you can't beat. I'm a meat and potato person. And why not a cocktail or two. We have taken a desert home to share. Service always makes me feel like, I have the night off from the kitchen. We make it a movie and dinner date. We've been married for 27 years. Mark & Connie

Wife and I went here last night for the first time in 20 years. It'll be another 20 years before we go back. We both ordered a 16oz ribeye. The meat looked NOTHING like the pictures on the menu. It was grey in color which to me means it was frozen when cooked. It was over-cooked and I guarantee it was not prime meat as advertised. We ate about 20% of the steak and had to stop. The ambience was old and outdated in our opinion. The server was nice though. All in all, we will not be going back whatsoever.

Food was good, but the waiting for the food took a really long time. Even our drinks took a really long time, halfway through our meal we finally got our drinks. (Alcohol drinks) I have made reservations prior to avoid waiting. We were celebrating a birthday but that doesn't seem to matter. The server also took awhile to serve us maybe close to 20 to 25 minutes when she finally got to our table, everyone knew what they wanted, we were a party of 6. Yes, we still tipped well just because we get how it could get busy but it took 2 hours for the actual entree to get to our table. Which is disappointing and ridiculous. If you do want to come here, it should probably only be for 2 people and not an entire group because they will not serve you well. Order the drink at the bar, might be faster to arrive. Definitely, 1.5 out of 5.

The closest Black Angus to us closed years ago. We were in the area for business and a few errands, and decided to give this location a try. We were not disappointed. We ordered the meal-for-two from the back page of the menu, discounted during certain hours. My husband got a full-size dinner salad, easily shareable, we got a 6- piece shrimp cocktail with a wonderful tangy sauce. We each ordered the sirloin with a baked potato. Normally, we wouldn't order sirloin in a steakhouse, but this was very flavorful, tender, and just the right portion. My steamed broccoli was a large portion, fresh, and well-seasoned. Lastly we shared the mountain fudge cake and brought half home. We didn't expect to eat so much, but this was a great value. There are several options in each category of starter, entree, sides, and dessert.

Spoke to female brown haired manager with a pony tail @ 755 pm on 2/24/24 to give a complaint. Bar tender description, white male short stature, dark brown hair. This gentleman chose to completely ignore us as we entered the bar and sat down . We were choosing to wait the 30-45 minute wait-time for a table for dinner as it was my Husband's birthday. The entire bar was dirty with past guests empty dishes and old napkins. There was no one else at the bar when we got there but he chose to ignore us with his back to us for greater than 15 minutes. After we arrived, 2 older gentlemen came in and sat down. He immediately gave them drinks and spoke to them! I also began watching him make a cocktail, the kind we were interested in ordering (a cranberry Limoncello Cosmo martini) the drink card said it also called for Smirnoff vodka and he did not even put vodka in it before it went out with the server! We have frequented Black Angus for many years at the Ventura location and never spent less than $85 per visit. We receive emails weekly as well. We have never been treated so poorly and seen such an unclean area where you are expected to eat. This is completely unacceptable. The 1 star is only for the reception staff who were nice. This place has completely disappointed me at how dirty it was and how unconcerned the bar tender and frankly, the Manager as well seemed! She made us wait almost 5 minutes for her to come and meet us when she was told a customer requested to speak with her! I am truly hoping the manager did have a talk with the bar tender but most likely doubt it! Making sure everyone who is considering eating there is aware of the lack of cleanliness and level of staff. I'm concerned about the kitchen if they are allowed to have such a filthy bar.

We all love to come to this place, and to be treated so very well by our waitress, Jenny, who remembers our drinks, our orders and to bring everything we want and need! What could be better? The quality of the food is VERY good, too.
