Duke's has become my favorite beach bar in all of ventura county. I used to come here to watch football games on sundays. Their friendly staff, fair priced cocktails, and overall ambiance makes it so comfortable and a fun place to unwind. I usually go by myself however, I recently visited last weekend with a friend just for some drinks. I was able to catch some of the sdsu basketball game too! It is always so much fun and I'm looking forward to the next time I visit.

Worst patty melt I've ever had. No flavor, very stale bread, barely any onion! Absolutely horrible. I do not usually leave reviews but I had to because of the ridiculous price they charged me. Upwards of $18 for bad food. Service was good though no complaints there.

Dukes is just........ Dukes. It is a place where every single walk of life convenes over drinks and unassuming but good quality food. It is a locals spot that doesn't hold it against you that you aren't a local - it is a welcoming and pleasant place to spend considerable time. If I had one wish it was that they had a few more healthy options - but their salmon dinner is really, really healthy so I can't complain too much!!! Food is good - staff is amazing!!!!

As a place I've frequented since childhood, Dukes holds a special place in our hearts and remains a family favorite. During our visit, we sampled the fish and chips, BLT, While Ball of Wax cheeseburger, and clam chowder, all of which were excellent with no complaints. My first fish taco was from here nearly 30 yrs ago. It set the bar pretty high and continues to not disappoint. Great menu with burgers, burritos, tacos and the like. Unique homemade crosscut potato chips. Located a stones throw from the beach, it's the perfect place to grab a beer and some lunch! Lot and street parking are free. Prices are reasonable, but the food taste says it should cost much more!
