this is my first visit. the place is clean .service very good. Food very poor quality to be honest. I saw the chips where oil soaked. I had the early bird special. the sausage was hard . the pancake was OK. the owners need to buy a much higher quality product. they have good

Ordered a chicken taco and it had a significant sized bone in it with sharp edges! Also the food made me sick ! The guacamole was very bland and not fresh! Such a disappointment and hazard!

Gloria's is great. Our friends have lived in Ventura for 40 years and they brought us here as they said breakfast burritos are the best in town. They are huge and super good. I shared one, 1/2 was more than enough. We came back a few days later for dinner. It's not fancy dining but waiters were great, food served quickly, excellent quality fresh salads, warm crunchy chips and tasty salsa with some zing. We tried Pina Colada's, very good. And flan for desert, yum. Great Value too. I'd def come back on next visit to Ventura.

Comfy Mexican restaurant with a revamped menu under new ownership. Their street tacos, especially the fish and the shrimp, are well worth the price.

Ordered the Mole con Pollo and it was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but not bad. A little sweeter than I'm used to. Prices were a little higher than I expected for Mexican food...but that seems to be the situation everywhere these days. Atmosphere reminded me of a cafeteria. Service was fairly quick.

This place is great! The new owners are very welcoming ,most importantly are very attentive to your needs and value your feedback. The new menu is delicious and the environment is very family oriented. Although I miss Mary (the previous owner and her husband) the new owners really turned this place around and there is lots of new faces. Glorias will not disappoint your appetite ??? P.S don't forget to thank the cooks on your way out, they really appreciate it! Enjoy...

I grew up going here after church every Sunday in the late 90's to mid 00's.As of the last few years, it seemed like the family that had operated the place had been winding the business hours down to only breakfast and lunch hours.Working nights, that basically kept me from ever going, so when I saw recently they are open till 9pm again, I was ecstatic. I was saddened to see ownership had changed hands, but after tonight, I can safely say I am satisfied with the expanded menu and offerings therein.Chile relleno was bursting with cheese, the huevos con chorizo was exactly as I remember it, and service was excellent. I can't wait to experience the expanded drink/ cocktail menu, as I know they only served bottled beer under prior ownership, but tonight it seemed every table had at least 1 margarita.Parking: Shared parking with the medical plaza the restaurant is located in, so 9/10 times parking is a non issue, but sometimes the lot is full and street parking is hit or miss as the road is narrow and can fill up quickly.
