I've ordered from here exactly once and it was one too many. Undercooked mush they call corn beef hash was inedible, the hash browns were somehow burnt to a crisp, I was supposed to get a fresh homemade slice of banana nut bread but what I got was a stale chewy slice of garbage and the eggs.....well the eggs were the only correctly cooked aspect. Will not order from them again.

I love eggs benny but I will never order them from this restaurant ever again! I have never in my life had a hollandaise as bland and flavorless as this was. It was more for color and not flavor it probably came from a can. And as I am sure all you eggs benny fans know the sauce is everything! But this was absolute sacrilege. You've been warned!

Dry, flavorless "rosemary" potatoes. 3 bites of my omelete had shells. Banana bread was ok. 9$ mimosa. The servers were incredibly nice at least

Breakfast food might possibly be the most satisfying! Ventura County has a number of solid breaky options and Golden Egg Cafe is one of them! I like a good traditional breakfast cafe that isn't trying to be too trendy, just good food! Homestyle cooking and personable service. Always appreciate a cafe with outdoor seating and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Golden Egg operates out of what was most likely a residential home. Quaint and comfy vibes. I ordered a 3 egg breakfast with hash browns and English muffin. Solid choice, sometimes a basic breakfast is what the soul needs. My toddler had the French toast with fruit. So good. An eggy type of french toast and fresh fruit made it even more delicious. Parking can be a little tricky. Limited options on Main and a few spot in the back. Food was good. Service was excellent and I will return to explore the menu.

This is such a relaxed charming little place. My tasty omelet was made with fresh vegetables freshly cut! And the potatoes obviously were made with fresh potatoes and sauteed in fresh oil ! Very friendly and efficient staff too. This was my first visit and we will definitely be back!

Saturday morning breakfast with the family. A cozy spot with great service. Very attentive and sweet staff. We were seated in their outside patio area and were able to enjoy a peaceful morning with great food. Parking is available right behind the restaurant but it's very limited. Plan to park on main or side streets.

Perfect breakfast spot! Great service and great food. We got the primavera omelette and the Greek omelette, both with fruit. Delicious all around! I especially enjoy the beautifully sliced fruit preparation. Also got a small order of the house made cinnamon roll-- wow!!

Food is pretty decent. Breakfast was good, but always enjoy a mom and pop shop. Nice and small place to relax and eat.

According to my husband this place has the "BEST corned beef hash" he's ever had! I realize now that we came in close to closing, but they never let on. The waitress was very friendly and gave great service.

Food was good and hot. My chili-verde was good. Excellent service, greeted with a smile. Great ambiance, can have breakfast with your four legged friends. Treats and water provided.

Love this place. I normally go to Oxnard location but this location is just as good. I love their scrambles.. filled with veggies and protein. Great service.

Terrible and expensive caffe.Be careful when you order a special sandwich, they charged 3 dollars for avocado that they forgot to serve and I have to go to get it. They bring a ridiculous amount of avocado.Very expensive place to have breakfast. Food is very simple, nothing special or amazing. This is why places like this are dying.
