Jimmy John's is a reliable counter-serve chain for sub and club sandwiches, complemented by their signature potato chips. The customer service can be a bit hit or miss, varying between quick and efficient to occasionally slower service. Regardless, the sandwiches consistently deliver in taste, and the standout feature is undoubtedly the best-in-class bread. With reasonable prices, Jimmy John's offers a pleasant surprise with a nice seating area outside. The outdoor space, bathed in sunlight, adds to the overall dining experience. Despite occasional variations in service, it remains a go-to spot for quality sandwiches with that perfect bread touch.

dude working there had absolutely no idea what customer service is. it was like i was inconveniencing him to be there. Also forgot part of my order that I had been charged extra for just 30 seconds prior. You are supposed to say “would you like to add cheese” not “do you want cheese” so the customer knows it costs extra. Also the bread was hard.

Coming from Idaho where I used to eat Jimmy Johns all the time, we were so excited to find that there was a location 45 minutes from us, in Ventura. The staff wasn’t friendly, and our bread was so thin, not the normal fluffiness JJ’s usually provides, and hard as a rock. When my husband also was shocked, I decided to ask if the recipe had changed. The woman behind the counter said, “no, why?” I explained that the bread was hard and thin. She said, “well it could be the weather.” I have seen some better reviews on the Oxnard location, so I will try that one before deciding to only go to JJ’s in other states.

Don't waste your time going there. On 8/14/23 I placed an order for four sandwiches ($42.53).They stated that the bread were a little rough and if the manager was running to Oxnard, Ca to go pick some up from their store. When I got home, I noticed that the sandwiches they made me were hard as a rock were not cut in half and had ingredients that I stated I did not want in them. When I called back to voice my concern the lady on the phone stated she was a manager said she knew that the breads were coming out deficient due to their ovens having issues. She stated she could not do a refund or anything about the sandwiches, If the sandwiches were not returned to the store. I was too far away to go back to the store and she stated she could not do anything about it.

Man I ordered a Giant lol no way I could finish it. I got the #12 Beach Club and added bacon. Really good sandwich I must say, and the place was packed but the employee behind the counter handled it like a champion and total professional. This guy can crank out some sandwiches. Thank you for making our visit a pleasant 1. Hats off to you sir.

I used to get Jimmy John's in AZ almost everyday. I would always get the tuna slim. And the tuna slim here is still great! For only $6, you get a ton of tuna and on great tasting bread! If you want something a little more on the healthy side, their take on a tuna sandwich is the best! Still doesn't disappoint. Also, if you sign up for their rewards, you get a free sandwich after your first order. And then it's a free sandwich every 3 orders. You can't beat that!

Worst sandwiches I have never had. The bread is not brown and is raw. And the staff is rude

I asked for roast beef and lettuce ONLY 4 times and still got home to find tomato on the sandwich, which I’m allergic to. Called to try and get a credit or a refund and I was hung up on.

My third time in this place and so far i had the best service from them except the other day while this staff behind the counter taking my order and all of a sudden he look down on his phone and started txting. That wasnt right. , but they are nice and friendly. Perhaps maybe next time wait til youre done taking the customers order. Clean tables and floors. Neat prep food area.
