BE FOREWARNED!! We all love KFC and if you want to go there, order your meal and eat it there or drive home, go for it! But I would think twice if you want to pre-order for a future event because when you show up to pick it up there is a chance you will be out of luck when no one knows anything about the order. My husband and I went into the Ventura KFC to see if we could pre-order chicken (no sides) for a large Easter dinner at our home a few days later. A very helpful KFC employee Damien said that we could get the best deal by pre-ordering off the catering (I think that was the term she used) menu rather than the regular walk in menu. The price was just under $50 for 25 pieces of chicken. She wrote all the info down on what appeared to be an order including price, date and pickup time (presumably) to give to the person who would be in charge at the time of pickup. She said she would not be in until later that day. Unfortunately, I did not get a copy. What she gave me was a number to call if I wanted to change or cancel the order. She also suggested that we call prior to pickup to let them know we were on our way. I tried to do that multiple times and either I got a busy signal or the phone rang without being answered so my husband decided to just go over there and pick up the chicken as our guests were soon to arrive. Well surprise, surprise, when he arrived the order had not been prepared and in fact no one knew anything about the order so my husband had to wait for it to be cooked and of course he was charged the walk in price which was over $70 and he paid it. I was sure that when my husband went back on another day when Damien was there we would be refunded the difference. Not only did they not give him a refund (not their policy) they were mostly focused on a note that I had written on the bottom of the piece of paper given to me by Damien (in a different color ink in MY handwriting) stating 25 pieces for $50 so my husband would know what he was picking up, not that we were trying to claim that Damien had written it (even though it was the quote she had given us.)

Love me Some KFC. This particular store was very clean and the service was Great the food is perfect though the Coleslaw wasn't quite as good this time as I remember the me. I will also give you a tip which most of you probably know this is better eating within 5-10 minutes of getting home or in the store. Microwaving it later doesn't quite have the same Ummph.Vegetarian options: Most of the sides biscuits coleslaw french fries see you to be all vegetarian. Lower the fries I can't say what type of oil they use. And I don't know what the macaroni and cheese has if it meets your diet. You can call and check with them.

Not the cleanest but acceptable. Service was very friendly and fast and food was pricy but tasty. 4/5Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp in front of the building so people in wheelchairs can get in easily.

Went there on Wednesday thev28th of Nov. They double charged me when my wife called them they were rude and said that they didn't double charge. I called them the next day seeing that the charge was still there they assured me that they didn't over charge to call my bank instead of refunding me the made the situation a burden called my bank and they had to make a claim against KFC becareful with this place.located on telegraph road in Ventura.

we ordered a pot pie and the pot pie had 2 big bone pieces in it and my grandma choked on them she's disabled in a wheel chair and went back to complain and the manager lady with the blue charger car and her crew that works with her after I showed pictures and the receipt of my order of the bones they gave me a hard time and attitude and were laughing because I was upset about the incident every time I go there when that lady and her crew is working my order is wrong and they forget to put items I paid for in my bag so I have to waste gas and time going back

The food is pretty good but a little too salty and I think it's ridiculous to charge more if you get a chicken breast as part of your meal.

Worst service. Employees are terrible at the location. No one cares. It's so bad that I really want to waste my time and report them to someone but even that is just a big waste of time. Food is bad, just an emergency fries is worth it at this place. Whoever is working today at the drive thru, 10/30/2023 at 10:40am, I feel so sorry for you. They're probably not paying you enough to give a crap about your job. I'm sorry.

I was told my wait would be 7 mins. The said to leave the drive through, park and they would bring my food to the car. I specifically asked that since there would be a wait, to please make sure I had fresh fries. 20 mins later, I had to go inside because I still had no food. Once they figured out my order, the fries were warm but tasted stale. I was told that in order to have fresh fries I would have to wait 20 more mins. 20 mins for fries?? I was not waiting 40 mins total. Also wrong with my order - I got the wrong drink, the sandwich had Mayo on it even though I requested no Mayo, and the box wasn't put together right so my food fell out the bottom. I understand this is fast food and it will not be perfect, but that's a lot wrong in one order.

I can't believe I was refused a packet of bbq sauce for my 12 dollar meal just because I didn't order it with it. What a scam... also employees at this location are dressed like slobs and have terrible customer service. It sickens me that people like that are gonna make 20 dollars an hour soon when they can't even do there job right. The colonel would be rolling over in his grave

I am recommending that you go somewhere else for chicken. Let's start by saying that we have eaten from this location a few times. We should have quit while we were ahead. Waited at the front counter for about 5 minutes listening to the employees talk about everything except their job. When the employee nonchalantly came to take the order I mentioned that a bell to ring would be good if no one was going to be attentive to the counter. They didn't even acknowledge the comment. It was like I was working with a cardboard cutout. I ordered 3 meals, all extra crispy white, one with fries, the others with mashed potatoes and green beans and corn. Waited an acceptable amount of time and when a different employee brought the food to the counter, it was bagged and ready to go, or so I thought. I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED, I own that. However, I was distracted by the blank look on their face and their inability to communicate. Much the same as the other person that took the order. I get home and the order was completely fowled (pun intended) up !!! None of the meals were extra crispy, no fries and all mashed potatoes. Green beans were dry and less than the serving size. No condiments, napkins, forks or spoons. These types of cost saving methods, withholding condiments and the like, will eventually cost you business and then cost you your business. This place has a real lack of training, lack of service, lack of management, lack of leadership and the owner is responsible for all of the above. Maybe, you should try pictographs. Pictures of chicken that show the difference extra crispy and original recipe. Pictures of fries vs. mashed potatoes. And maybe training on how to ensure the proper amount is served. (we, the consumer, notice these things.)I am recommending that you go somewhere else for chicken. I should have taken photos to be used in training, BUT, I can't bring myself to take pictures of my food. #stoptakingpicturesofyourdinnerplate.AND they obviously don't train employees at that store. #trainyourgoddamnemployees
