I had such a great experience at La Parrilla Yucatan. I started with some bomb.com wings! Then, I ordered the Relleno and enchilada combo, and my kids got the carnita tacos and fish tacos. EVERYTHING was so fresh and delicious. That food came out hot hot hot so you know it wasn't just sitting under a warmer. The flavors were so unique and not your typical Mexican restaurant flavors. It had a little something extra and was amazing! The Horchata, too. It was a different consistency than I'm used to, but it made for such a refreshing horchata. And even if it wasn't amazing, I would still go back just for the service. Wallie was GREAT! Right when we walked in, he greeted us us with a smile and was so welcoming and hospitable. He helped and answered questions about the menu. Even when my kids were changing their minds, he showed even more kindness. I was really impressed when he brought out wings WITH lots of napkins and ranch. That says experience. Usually we have to ask for that. Wallie knows what's up and how to make visiting La Parilla a great experience. Give them a try for unique, delicious Mexican food.

Came here because my friend recommended it. I love the chips they were such a good texture and fresh, the salsa had good flavor but just not enough heat. I ordered shredded beef nachos and a chile relleno burrito (I was sharing food) the nachos were ok the beef was tender and flavorful. The only complaint was the pickled carrot and onions on there were random and too sour. The burrito was very nice and huge, could have used more cheese. The service at first was great so nice and quick. Our waitress went on lunch though half way through which happens and is fine but after she left it was like we were forgotten. It took around 15 minutes of us waiting to get our check for them to finally come and take our plates and see if we were done. Would give it a second chance

Delicious food, super friendly family owned and operated restaurant. La Parrilla Enchiladas are sooo tasty. Pollo Asada is so tasty, moist and tender the meat falls off the bones. I'm looking forward to trying many more items from the menu.

Food was delicious! We went for dinner tonight after hiking all day. Restaurant was busy but service was great. We enjoyed our food and atmosphere was very pleasant. Chips and salsa were delicious. Our main courses were spot on.

This restaurant has beautifully carved benches and a unique style. I came in before the lunch crowd started coming in. Our server was very nice and friendly but he would not check in with us as much as we would have liked and we would have to ask him for most things. He would come back after long periods of time. Each table also gets chips and salsa. I ordered the asada fries but they were a bit too soggy for my liking. They did have good toppings though with sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and jalapeños. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and they did taste very good. A common factor I noticed though is that the plates were not presented well. Each plate or drink we ordered had spillage and was presented messy. I think this is something the kitchen can work on. Beans and rice were tasty as well. They offer a lot of Yucatan plates so if this is something you would like to try this is the place!

Late lunch on a quiet rainy afternoon came in to get take out. Ambiance is great and very homey with the carved wooden booths. The service is always friendly and they had my order ready to go. I love their wet burritos but I was meeting a friend to work on a project so I ordered 2 Cochinita Pibil dishes with black beans and Spanish rice. They came with 2 salsas and a generous bag of fresh warm tortilla chips and corn tortillas. My friend is from Cuba and this is his favorite restaurant. The flavor profile of the roasted pork was the perfect combination and the pickled red onions are the acid that takes it to the next level. The meat was so tender and the black beans and rice rounded out our delightful meal. Could not have been a more perfect meal. Highly recommend !!

Great service and affordable. The closest you'll get to authentic in Ventura . Highly recommend homemade corn tortillas.

I haven't found anything that wasn't fantastic here. My favorite is the Chile Verde. The rice is fluffy and the beans are wonderful. The pork is cooked to perfection.
