My gf and I both really liked our meals here. I had the pho with brisket and she ordered a noodle dish. We came near closing time and they were out of a few items we tried to order so the nice waiter gave us a discount, which we appreciated. Good food and good customer service.

It's absolutely my favorite local place to get Pho. Every time I go, I am greeted with a smile and feel welcomed into the space. The service has always been great and accommodating to any requests. The space is clean and decorated simply but beautiful. The serving size for the Pho is generous. I always leave with some to enjoy at home later. Highly recommend adding the chili oil if you love to add a spicy kick to your Pho. So good!!

I'm sad to say that the average 3.5 star review on yelp kept me away from Mai's cafe for awhile. I finally gave it a try, and I have to say that Yelp was dead wrong (go figure) The food was great, service was friendly, and the location was clean and nice inside. Underrated location. Give it a shot!

The pho broth was way too sweet. I could not finish the bowl….

The chicken pho I ordered here from door dash is by far the best I've had in Ventura, CA. The broth was thick , so much flavor, right amount of saltiness and the cinnamon flavor. Fantastic. The downside for this restaurant is the to go packages for the broth is in a styrofoam cup and the chicken with garnish is in a smaller plastic container that's NOT a bowl. Suggestion to the restaurant owners is please consider switching the styrofoam for a plastic actual bowl container instead. It would make it more convenient to eat the pho without using our own dishes from home . Thank you

The food here is amazing and authentic. I would definitely recommend it. Prices are also extremely affordable and the service is relaxed, but good!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Ordered the pork and shrimp vermicelli. Meats were huge and so good. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants ive been to and the staff and ownera are very friendly and welcoming. Also have a very decent selection of vegan and vegetarian offerings.

I've only had takeout from Mai's but I feel like that speaks even more to the quality of their food. And HOLY WOW is it good. The staff is always very friendly and the bar is pleasant to wait at while they pack up your order. But the food, oh man. I highly recommend the Cabbage Salad to accompany your soup, it's large so you can share it. Aside from the expected pho, I LOVE the Bún Bò Huê (Huê Style Noodles), soooo tasty; and Mai's Sate if you aren't feeling quite as fishy, haha.

Went for the milk tea. Poor service, overpriced, tea was not good. Try somewhere else for milk tea.

Wow! Stopped here on my north over the Thanksgiving holiday. The beef pho was excellent. My old stomping grounds for Pho were in Little Saigon, Garden Grove. I've had some excellent pho and this place rates right up with the best I've had anywhere. The restaurant was clean, service was excellent as was the Pho. I'll be back when I'm traveling to and from!

Not traditional pho. Soup is sweet, some spring rolls have shrimp some do not, just random. Read menu in detail, as the first rice noodle soup has chick breast in it!
