My wife and I had the Chicken Shawarma Tacos with fries and freshly squeezed orange juice. Service was great and very hospitable and answered our questions with great confidence. Can't say much about the ambiance, because Mr. B's is in the Pacific View Mall in Ventura. If you have a chance and crave Mediterranean food, you will not be disappointed. Everything is made to order.

We ordered the beef shawarma and it tasted like liver. I could not eat all of my shawarma, the taste was just too strong. The fries were alright, but lacked an good seasoning. The amount of ketchup and other sauces they gave you were a bit small and insufficient. I would never eat here again and have warned my friends ti stay away.

Was not familiar with the food, so I asked the service rep to recommend something. He suggested the chicken schwarma sandwich. OMG. It was so very good. It was stuffed w/perfectly seasoned chicken, very fresh, and piping hot. My grandchildren had food-court Asian food, but one bite of my sandwich, and they wanted my sandwich. I cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend it.

this place is so so slept on! hands down the best place to eat in the mall and def deserves its own restaurant because I'm sure the malls customer base doesn't do it justice with the high quality food, desserts, culture, customer service, etc. the shawarma, hummus, sambosas, burgers are all made with perfection in mind and you can tell that the owner is super passionate about providing the best quality food while keeping a fair price point. I want to see this place succeed and continue to do well and I will be a regular customer here for life. It may not look as flashy or as busy as the rest of the restaurants but those who find this hidden gem I promise your expectations will be exceeded tenfold. -Jacob
I ate at the location in the Ventura mall at the food court, and it was very good. I had a beef hamburger and fries and they were made fresh and delicious, and the person working there was very nice and very polite. I would have given five stars, but I think they need more photos of the food items. I almost passed them right by because the only way to see the items was through a video monitor that showed one food item at a time. They didn't have much business, although the surrounding restaurants did, and I feel it would attract a lot more customers if there were pictures of the food. It helps to see what you're getting. In this case, I do feel a picture is worth a thousand words. Nonetheless, I highly recommend them, while also recommending to the company that they should put up a lot more pictures of their food.
