A small corner pizza spot, that undoubtedly serves the best pizza in the neighborhood. Max is absolutely the best, from taking orders, making the pizza, and hand delivering it straight to my kitchen counter while my hands are completely full with twin infants. This place is my absolute favorite go to, the other "local" pizzas don't even compare in my opinion.

Definitely my favorite pizza spot in Ventura. The pizza toppings are always fresh and dough is delicious! Cool benches outside are a nice place to chill out and have lunch.

Excellent pizza!! We've ordered multiple times and it's always good, today was exceptional. Definitely recommend the pan crust pizza (ours was sausage, chopped garlic and basil) and the Italian sub.

We had the BBQ Chicken Pizza. I should have ordered a Large. I plan to stop by tomorrow before getting on the highway. The delivery time was accurate. We were not disappointed.

Haven't been to Pizza Chief in almost 30 years. It was the ONLY place open on Ventura, California. It was Christmas Eve and we were hungry. We saw the open sign and knew what that meant. It was the best pizza I have had in a LOOOOOOONG time. Thank you.

So I did go back and had the same pizza it was good and this time I added fresh basil at the end. This place is good and I changed my mind and will continue to keep coming back!

Found this place online while staying in Ventura and so glad we did!! The people are great, the food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. The portions were beyond generous. Its definitely the best Italian food I have had. I will make sure to tell everyone I know about it so they can try too!
