The food is good however ordering online for pick up can be a hit or miss. I've had an instance where they didn't see my online order and I waited a while and finally when I didn't hear anything back I went in and they had to make my order then and there and this past time it took a long time for them to accept the order and then I was never notified when it was ready so I just went in after the time frame and it was sitting there ready. Order was right so that was fine. I don't have issues when I go in person. Only issues with online pickup sometimes.

My favorite poke joint in the 805. Affordable, generous fish portions, and fresh ingredients. It's $12.99+tax for a regular bowl with 3 scoops of protein (other poke places in SB and Ventura will charge $20+ for the same size). Also, avocado is free for your first scoop! I always leave feeling satisfied

Love this place. Easy to place online orders and pick it up. Prices are decent for the amount. The food tastes fresh. The inside is always clean and the staff is always friendly. Definitely one of my go to's!

Kid-friendliness: I don’t do this kind of reviews unless I had a really bad experience. So whoever is working at poke land at Ventura march 12, 2024 around 8 pm especially the plus size individual that works there. No intention of disrespect but that’s the only way I can describe that individual and there is only 3 of them working at that time. She welcomed me to the store with most disrespectful way possible and my kid was with me..

Large please....even though they made the containers smaller throughout the years, whether it's in Ventura, Oxnard or T.O. it's my favorite Poke spot!

The food was wonderful! My only complaint is that because of the wind we had to sit inside, and it smelled strongly of cleaning product. The staff were very kind and patient, and overall the food was great.Parking: Finding parking was easy, there wasn’t anyone in that parking lot.
I've never been so disappointed. The large bowl is such a scam, yes I want more meat, that's probably what I'm paying for, but lord was the rice lacking. Not only did it not fill the entire tray, but it's like eat toppings with your side of rice. My lord, the sauce also completely drowned the bowl, and probably the worst eel sauce I've ever had. I've never had poke that I didn't want to devour then and there. It's still sitting in my lap and I just feel disappointment, like my rating is going down the more I write. Oh yeah, forget how small the rice is, the amount of toppings are smaller. You'd think you'd get more rice, and toppings for 5 (mini) scoops of protein. Also, workers looks like they hated their lives, so, I hope working conditions are okay. This is getting too long, I might go to the store and buy more rice, my lord..

Always really good and the tuna is always fresh, you are definitely paying for the quality so the prices make sense.
My wife and I were in town for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised at this little place. The food was fantastic, with lots of options to build your bowl. The service was helpful and friendly. And the over all atmosphere was very nice. If they open a brand in San Diego, I would definitely be a regular.

Not to mention the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Definitely will be back for this bowl of deliciousness!

When I was ordering, I saw a fly on the raw fish, said something to employee, she ignored me. Got home with order....found this when I was eating. Disgusting will never eat there again
