Food is good, but a bit overpriced. Found the avocado green curry was good but a little overly sweet and not much chicken inside mostly veggies. The teriyaki chicken my bf ordered was a bit dry as well.The wonton soup had a little too much onion flavor for me & the iced Thai tea had way too much ice and hardly any of the actual drink inside.Got overcharged a couple of times here as well, so I won't be returning.

My husband and I decided to try out this Thai restaurant for the first time, and wow, were we impressed! Without a doubt, this is the best Thai restaurant we’ve experienced in the area. The food was absolutely delicious, leaving us marking it as our new favorite spot. We're already making plans for our next visit! Not only was the food exceptional, but the customer service truly stood out. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. I have eaten here many times and this will be the last time because your restaurant lied to us, I wanted to order a portion of tomyum soup and the waiter asked me if I wanted hot pot or a bowl and I said I wanted the bowl because the hotpot was so big that 2 people couldn't eat it all, and I talked to my husband and he asked the waiter what size to order while I was busy looking at other dishes on the menu and when they brought out 1 The hot pot was really big so I said I didn't order hot pot but they said my husband ordered it and I asked him and he said he didn't know he just ordered enough food for 2 people, I was very unhappy. I'm sorry that you guys treat your customers so dishonestly. The price is not important to me. What's important is that I know the two of us don't eat much, so I just want to order enough for the two of us to eat. I want to tell you not to deceive customers like that just because you want to make a few extra bucks.

Definitely a place to put on your lunch/dinner list. Went with family, 6 of us, and we loved our plates. Everything was flavorful and delicious, with plenty to feed us all. The service was amazing as well, the hostess was nice with the rest of the staff being just as friendly. Seating and plating was also fast. I really only have positive things to say of this place and will definitely recommend to others.
The food was great and it is a place where you will go back to if ever you are craving for Thai Food again. The place looks and feels like authentic. The flavors of the food is authentic. I recommend their Iced Thai Coffee it will surely won't make you fall asleep! It was strong and the taste of it is powerful.

I love Thai Food. Sawasdee Thai is one of my favorite place. I love Tom Kha soup and Crispy Fish Mango. The waitress recommended fresh roll avocado. It was so fresh and yummy. The service was really good, fast, and friendly.

The panang curry was also one of the best in Ventura. Satay also good, and pad see ew had that nice charred flavor that is a must. We enjoyed the food and service.BUT THE BAD: This is one of the many restaurants that now charge the unethical "service charge." Check your restaurant bills, folks, for this charge. If you don't already know, it's something new that was made up by restaurant owners after the pandemic to make more money, originally to cover losses and now, just greedy and WRONG. For this restaurant it is %18. This charge is IN ADDITION to tax and gratuity.Here is the thing about this charge: it goes directly to the pockets of the restaurant owner. So, many people avoid paying gratuity because they think this is gratuity. Gratuity, however, usually goes to the hard-working, often underpaid staff. This service charge is basically just extra charges for nothing. Unlike raising food prices, which is an understandable event of running a business, this charge is for nothing, and simply unethical. Furthermore, when you raise food prices, the customers can see the prices and choose what they want and are willing to pay for. The service charge is sneaky, and relies on the fact that most people don't pay attention or don't speak up. Many restaurants will take off this service charge if someone asks/complains, because they know it's wrong and there is no legal merit behind it. But most people don't notice or bother. But sneakily taking people's money because they don't notice, well, isn't that theft?So, despite the good food, we simply will not support restaurants that try to cheat their customers. But if you're ok with this charge, then the food here is good. But remember this charge doesn't just cheat the customers, but also the staff.
