The food was okay. I have been wanting to try this place for a while after it was recommended to me. We got the battered fish tacos and the grilled fish tacos. The grilled fish tacos were disappointing. The battered fish tacos were average. Better off going to the pier to get fish tacos. The service was great. The ambiance wasn't worth noting.

One of the Favorite spots for Ventura Locals. Food is Fantastic. Known for their fish or Shrimp Tacos with Their home Jack's shack sauce. My personal favorite is the Chicken fajita burrito. for dessert, the cinnamon chips are a must! Great vintage beach decor to enjoy while you dine in or while waiting for your take out
It is horrible and everything tastes bad after 2 mins and there claw machines are scams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So yummy! I almost went to Taco Bell instead because I'm broke but was so glad I didn't. I got chicken taquitos and I added cheese on top. My friend got a chicken/steak taco salad. So bomb! You get a lot for what you pay. We got chips, guac, sour cream, salsa, and sides with our order (maybe because the items we ordered came with it, not sure).. We got our food to go but we ended up eating on the outdoor patio. Will come back! (:

This is a great place for a quick meal that's sort of California Mexican food. Everything is decent on the menu, the service is usually good, and the salsas are all great. The fish tacos are always really good, along with the burritos. I usually find service is quick also, so if you order online or in person you don't have a long time to wait. The prices are good which really makes it more worth coming back to regularly.

Very friendly workers and the food comes out quick. I didn't order it from DoorDash the last time I got it and wow it was very pricey! $17 for nachos is insane but they did taste very good still. The ingredients are fresh and tasty!

Usually I love the fish burrito from the snapper jacks in Camarillo. Unfortunately, the last two times I have gotten the fish burrito from this location it has not been good. The first time the fish tasted rubbery and the second time the burrito was cold and didn't taste fresh. My husband and I ordered the same thing and were both really disappointed. Both times we got it to go and didn't want to drive all the way back. We won't be trying this location anymore even though we live in Ventura.

Worst fish tacos I've had in my life. Fish was about the size and shape of a pencil, with heavy breading around it. You can get better quality frozen fish sticks at Walmart. They covered the fish with a big pile of cabbage chunks and shredded cheese. Crazy that they charge $5 for each one of the fish tacos. They aren't even worth $1.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Don't waste your time or money here. The food is so mediocre, yet, INSANELY priced. If you are going to charge $10 for a BRC, you better be making a phenomenal BRC. Clearly they only care about money. These are some of the cheapest ingredients you can buy.. such a rip off. There are plenty of other incredible authentic mexican food restaurants in Ventura.
