One of my favorite places to have lunch in Ventura. So many good choices. The gyro sandwich is massive and delicious. For a little extra, add the salad and fries, and you pretty much have two meals.The lamb gyro is great. But my favorite is probably the chicken souvlaki plate, which comes with fries that end up soaked in the juice from the chicken.The eggplant souvlaki is also tasty and a good vegetarian option.
Everything about this joint is Greek excellence at its finest. Tonight I had a tried and true lamb gyro. Perfectly executed with the freshest tomatoes onions and cucumber. The tzatziki sauce was perfectly consistent and full of flavor. The lamb was succulent and delicious. But let’s take a minute to talk about the real star of the show- the pita! Friendly staff and wide selection of Greek dishes and desserts. I tried the Greek salad with chicken and everything was fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care. I was also pleasantly surprised by how generous the portions were.
