A couple days ago I was craving pazole and tamales. I’ve never been here before so I decided to try something new and give it a chance. I called in asked for pazole and was told pozole is only Friday and Saturday. I was disappointed but thought whatever I’ll be happy with just tamales. I asked what kind they have available and she told me chicken, cheese and pork. So I asked for pork and she said no!? This whole phone call this lady was rude about everything and it felt like I inconvenienced them by calling. I told her never mind because those were the two things I wanted and she hung up on me without saying anything. Doesn’t seem like I’m the only one that thinks they have bad customer service judging by the other reviews. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Their website doesn’t work either so no way of knowing what’s on the menu for what price.

Before they had good service and the quality of the food was excellent, open very late to serve breakfast burritos, With the change of ownership everything changed, they are losing a lot of customers.

Most of the times I try to give a pretty good review, but I am sad to say ,Please improve the quality of the food and service, I order a carne azada burrito , and it's the first and last time that I will come at Taqueria La Victoria in Ventura on 1437 S Victoria Ave Ventura CA Please, if you are not going to represent a real Mexican food, please start thinking what to do next as you can see, the business is going downhill.

Horrible experience, would never recommend this place. Cashier and “cook” were both so rude. Both were offended when I told them they had given the wrong meat and were accusing me of being rude when all I wanted was them to fix the problem. Tasteless food and salsa. Food is not worth a penny. Don’t waste your time and money going to this place. Besides them not giving me the correct food non of their appliances work. Bad service all around.

Horrible service. Bad tasteless food. When I tried to explain they had given me the wrong meat the cook started accusing me of lying. She opened up my burrito and dug thru it with a fork and stated being very rude. I do not recommend for anyone to waste their time and money here. The cashier was so rude. These people don't even deserve a one start specially since they got so aggressive when I tried to explain the problem.

I always get the chicken burrito and Mamey shake to go. The place is a bit small, so I would recommend pick up. The shakes are creamy, sweet and perfect on a hot day. The chicken is juicy and tastes great. Takes a while to get ready so not the place if you're in a rush. Try a concha and a drink while you wait though! Open till 5pm on Thursdays.

I went to order food here for the first time. I happen to stand where the lady was making my food. She WASN'T wearing gloves. I seen her touch her face then the food ? I see her then grab a towel and touch the food after. I asked the girl taking orders if the lady cooking wears gloves, she said no. I canceled my order and will never go back!!

California burrito was garbage if you like having your arteries clogged than this is the burrito for you super greasy poorly wrapped half assed, it's supposed to have fries inside instead they use cubed hash browns? Cheese and ingredients inside were poorly distributed lots of meat on one side and on the other it's like eating a cheese burrito I've been here a few time already it's over priced poor quality food. Only good is staff was friendly that's it.
