best mexican in ventura hands down. Super Chili Verde Burrito is the move! Such an authentic vibe. Been going every week since i found this beauty. Was lowkey losing hope in Ventura's Mexican food scene. but this Place had Passion of the Christ on one TV and Apocalypto on the other. 5/5 review for that alone. Lady on phone hardly is understandable and might mess up on order, but you're gonna get something better any way. Got the groms in the back helping. truly a special place. they also got pickled veggies and take less than 10 minutes no matter the crowd... unlike Corrales. #FukCorralesGang

The best burrito in ventura 2022(According to me).The super burrito comes with rice, beans, cheese, choice of meat, sour cream, and avocado. Not green avocado sauce, real sliced avocado. The size has been toned down a bit over the mast couple years- call it inflation- but the burrito still fills you up.If you’re feeling extra crazy, as some fresh fruit to your meal with a made-to-order licuado (juice/smoothie).

I have a good experience, the restaurant is clean, the people who serve it are kind and cordial, the food is good, I tried the carnitas and tongue tacos and the chile relleno dish with rice and beans, they have very good flavor and the price is right, I recommend them

A friend of mine said I'm too generous with my 5 Stars. I disagree. When a place kills it - they kill it. Enjoys a great, authentic, fresh breakfast here. Put this on your list of places to grab some breakfast

Good food but no refills on soft drinks?

Food is really good. But dude I can eat at a high end restaurant for these prices. Add cheese $4 add avocado $4. Insane. Family of 3 and I spend $65 for BRC burritos with a side of avocado. Absurd. Hipsters really did a good job making a side of avocado worth $4 bucks. Cmon! Literally a rip off.

I can't say this food was made with very much love. We ordered a chile relleno plate (it was $18 somehow - we misread the price) and a super burrito ($12). The plate was pretty sad looking for the price and just poor quality ingredients and flavor. The burrito was also pretty messy and the meat came with bony cartilage. The only thing they did well were their salsas and the agua fresca. It was an expensive mistake.

Menudo- wasn't good, very greasy and extra mushy. Had to add 3 packs of salt and all the fixings to make a little flavorful. Nachos- chips with cheese melted in the microwave because the chips got all soft and weird and just gross. Tacos al pastor- the best of what we ordered but the worst we had during our stay in Ventura. Rice and beans- super bland, no flavor. Horchata- not bad actually. Customer service- bad. The older man taking our order seemed so annoyed that we were there. After eating I needed to use the restroom which requires a key and when I asked for it he looked at me super annoyed and said "Que te falta" translation "what are you missing". 10/10 DONT recommend.

Very casual atmosphere- open- lots of fresh air, a couple of tvs with sports, good Mexican food, prices market rate, 2 clean private restrooms for paying customers' use only. Staff attentive to customers requests and needs. Great location in the middle of all the action!

Not the best taqueria in town, but the best off Main Street in downtown.

$3 tacos. $3 for ~ 1 cup of chips. The taco is maybe 3x4” in diameter with 1/8 c of meat. $10 and I’m still hungry

Got the chile verde super burrito and ceviche torta. the burrito was a little too watery with the pinto beans inside being extremely wet. The pinto beans diluted the flavor of the chile verde and made the burrito very bland. The ceviche was pretty good, as it had a strong lime flavor. Also had a horchata. Nothing special about it, but it had a grainy texture.
