Dry sautéed eggplant Pork xiao long bao Chong Qing special chicken Wonton in spicy sauce Service can get a little tight as they get busier. A certain waiter can do with better customer service but after that, he serviced our table fine. This is not your average Chinese spot, so come in with a hearty appetite. Food here is one of a kind in Ventura County, that's for sure! Loved their dry sautéed eggplant and chong Qing spicy chicken. Note that they close from 3pm-4:30pm

This place was amazing first of all our waitress was a young lady who always was attentive to us and made everything was ok and made sure all the food was good. Speaking of the food the food was amazing. They are really good portions and even the appetizers are a good portion to share with friends. If you are coming here make sure to be prepared to bring food home as it is a lot!

The food is really good here, they come scolding hot, just how I like it! The portions are on the larger side, but it doesn't take away from the quality. I ordered the basil eggplant dish and my brother got the orange chicken. We both enjoyed our meals and would eat here again.

Best Chinese food around. We come here when we need a tasty cooked meal. It is definitely a hidden gem in East end Ventura.

Favorite dinner spot in Ventura! Xiao Long Bao ate so tasty, as is wood ear salad, Dan dan noodle and pretty much everything!

Better than most Chinese restaurants in area. Each dish has distinct flavors, colors, textures. Nothing over cooked. Not greasy. It was take out and really hot even by time I got home, 15 minutes away. Everything packed beautifully. Lobster sauce was packed apart from the shrimp so shrimp. How thoughtful. These people know what they're doing. Ordered: 1. Shrimp with lobster sauce. Delicious. Shrimps were small and no lobster in sauce but sauce is delicious. 2. Mongolian beef. Excellent. Plenty of meat. Sauce excellent. 3. Fried rice with BBQ pork. Wow. Really good .Reminded me of the terrific Chinese food ubiquitously available in NYC. Hallelujah. Mouth waiting and watering for next order.

Hidden gem. Priced very well for sumptuous and delicious food. Tiny Taiwanese/Chinese restaurant that punch flavors to most of the food we tried. Visited the restaurant twice and so far everything we tried was mouth watering, yummy and just authentic tasting. They have lunch special for $12 and serving is large. Going back next time I am around the area to try the noodle soup, fried dumpling, chili fish.....

I was very happy with both the quality of the food. There's a lack of good gourmet Chinese food here in Ventura County and this place is our go-to. They have a great selection and we have never tried something that we were dissatisfied with. We only ever order pick up, but the restaurant is nice and the staff that I've interacted with are always friendly.

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. My mom and I both got lunch specials and we shared some noodles. If we would have known that the lunch size entrees were so large we probably wouldn't have ordered the noodles but it was nice to enjoy the variety. Super fresh veggies great sauces yum fried rice. And the noodles were delicious.

We ordered three dishes. They are all quite salty including the soup dumplings. I don't know if it's me but at least soup dumplings shouldn't be that salty.
