Food slaps, cool place, they gave me free fries for no reason, the counter guy is really really friendly and will make small talk when you enter, really good small local business with extremely cheap price, you can make custom orders

Food was under cooked. Atmosphere is very abrasive. Tony the owner is confrontational. This restaurant has gone down hill over the years. You are better off eating elsewhere.

My first time here today, quick service and hot food. I loved my veggie burrito it was very unique and satisfying. I got my dad a pastor burrito and he’s not easily impressed and usually a harsh critic, but he enjoyed his burrito and had nothing bad to say. The hot sauce was good and the beans didn’t taste like canned beans, tasted fresh. The corn burritos were so satisfying, will definitely return.

Ordered carne asada fries. They use nacho cheese sauce. The meat was super dry.

Been hitting this place up since 1987.Grew up eating this great food. When ever I'm in Ventura mandatory stop. Green chili verde burro no rice or beans. Always have to get corn burritos too... Thanks for still being here. Much Love ❤️ East End Vta.

I have lived in east Ventura and gone here for years. Come on Tonys! This price increases have got to stop. 9 $. For one 5 inch small breakfasr burrito. Made of : tortilla, potatoes and an egg. The cheapest food on the planet. There is no way you can justify that cost. I'm outtah here.

Not impressed with this place, the food was boring and bland. Service was friendly and quick, but that doesn't make up for the lack of flavor. The place is clean and well kept, probably ok for a quick lunch if you can find something with flavor on the menu.

Food is also so good. Upset tummy so I am going for the best remedy their abondigas soup. Full of flavor and their salsa adds the perfect just right bite. It always comes with a side of rice and honestly if they miss it I miss it! It's warm and cozy and adds the balance it needs. I also got some taquitos to help with that crunchy craving my kids always have and there bomb guacamole salsa. I look forward to coming because they are always kind and I always feel welcome. People are always coming in and out so you know it's popular. Everyone is happy here. Little spot but worth the wait. Never wait more than 10 mins. Momma in the back working hard and making it just right. I'm pretty sure it's family owned. I recommended their shredded beef enchiladas you'll thank me for it!Look out lalos this is way better and more affordable for the family. 13 bucks for a big soup that I can eat for a couple meals or share with one of my kids and we leave satisfied and full.

Consumer BEWARE! I ate half of my veggie burrito and spent the next morning on the toilet. I didn't put two and two together until I attempted the second half of my burrito for lunch and found a ROCK in my burrito! A f*cking ROCK. I actually bit on it and fortunately did not chip my tooth! I can't even think about how that could happen and what other contaminants were in my food. I'm disgusted!

I am so excited that this restaurant is still in operation! This is the true home of THEE corn burrito and all these years later (been over 10yrs personally) it is still the same. - Downsides: The cost has ballooned like everywhere else and they cost almost 4 times what they did in the 90s, aaaand for some reason they were served dry? They originally came with a ladle of sauce already applied, highly recommend asking for sauce ON them when ordering.
