Winchester is a great mix of meats with reasonable sides and appetizers. They also have a great drink menu.We stopped back in for an afternoon drink and they had live music, which was an extra treat.

Great spot! Indoor and outdoor seating. Always excellent service. Lots of beer on tap, all the cocktails, good food. Live music on a regular basis that's loud enough to dance but quiet enough to have a conversation depending on where you sit. The new owner is keeping up with all the good stuff that's been offered for a long time. Love to hang out with friends for dinner, for drinks, for music.

The highlight was Moose Drool. Very tasty dark ale.I had the bison burger on Texas toast. It was delicious. I like my fries a little less crispy.

Had an amazing evening here in a Thursday with love music by "Mac and D" they played jazz and they were amazing. Not to crowded. Got seated immediately. For is great. I had the tri tip and my wife had the BBQ half chicken. They were both very tasty. Very clean place. Parking is at a distance ar a parking structure. Walking there could get a lil sketchy due to homeless walking around. Definitely coming back with the family for the live music and food. Very relaxed atmosphere
We had my bf's birthday dinner with family and friends and the service was excellent. The manager was our server on this particular night and he was fantastic. The drinks, appetizers and food were so delicious. I got the tri-tip dinner with a baked potato and a fresh green garden salad with ranch. It was delishous and the baked potato skins with steak pieces were out of this world.

Ordered from grub hub the elk burger tasted dry pre formed frozen patty. Was horrible. Also ordered the stuffed venison mushrooms which were also horrible little mushrooms with alot of rice. For my son the chicken tenders seemed like cheep frozen ones u get from vons. Ordered like 110 dollars of food for way to sub par of food first time and last time ever ordering from here.

Horrible. As others have said don't order appetizers, they will sit there until your meal is ready. I actually got up to ask server after my guests had almost finished their salads, "where is the appetizer?" To which she said pointing at the hot shelf between the kitchen, "its probably up there..." where i saw our other entrees. If that app came out same time as the entree it would have been returned but she knew better, so a minute later, here comes the appetizer, and 30 seconds later here comes the entrees. My dad n i got the same thing, tri-tip FULL STACK, ordered both medium, mine was perfect his was over done, granted a thinner cut. My girlfriend and mom split the porch chop plate, daughter had a BLAT. TOTAL MEAL $160!!! Not worth it, especially for the service. One girl serving the whole restaurant with a couple assistants for water n plate clearling. Go elsewhere. Local business gone bad, and on a weekend!!
The restaurant just changed owners, and evidently the new owner thinks it wise to cut cost by operating on a skeleton crew. I put my name in waiting for a table and was forgotten or disregarded by him for 30 minutes, with no indication that I’d ever be get a table. Very little staff, and those who were there working were over it, not concerned at all about the poor service received by everyone yesterday. Too bad as it used to be a very good restaurant. None of us will try again.
