Ordered Lomo Saltado(beef). It was delicious and very filling. Food is made to order so you have to be patient if you are dining in. You can order by phone check out their menu on Google.

Reminds me of my Peruvian grandmother's cooking! Steak Saltados is the best! Friendly people. Once you have tasted Peruvian food, you wont want anything else! Nice to have it in the high desert now.

Contigo Peru the people are nice. The Loma Saltato was delicious. Great food and variety of dishes. Even Inca colas. You can sit down and eat nice owners came over and talked to us. Look forward to returning!!!!!

Do not let the location put you off. From the outside it looks uninviting, including the entire parking lot. But the Service was excellent, the Food delicious and vegetarian options too. (No lard in the beans.) Staff was wearing masks and most but not all who entered.

I wish this review could be about the food. I've tried coming here on three different occasions, all spaced out by months. All within the operating business hours listed on Yelp. All three times the establishment was closed.

This restaurant is overpriced!!! I was disappointed when I got the papas a la huancaina dish the server recommended as the best for a first timer eating Peruvian food. It was literally two slivers of a hard boiled egg and half of a small potato sliced to make it cover the plate. The sauce was nothing special. It's supposed to be a spicy yellow pepper cheese sauce but I could not distinguish the flavor. I cannot justify this dish costing almost $20 with such a meager amount of protein. To top it off my friend asked for a to go cup of the mint chili sauce (ocopa) that came with the bread rolls and it cost her almost $30 for an 8 ounce cup. Sadly I will not be coming again to this restaurant. They definitely take advantage of the fact that Peruvian dining is rare, especially in such a rural area in the desert.

Not bad, but my yucca tasted frozen, not fresh. Which is why i gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Ceviche was very good, but different to the mexican one im used to. The ice cream was very pleasent. I probably would not order the ceviche again, just because im so used to having it with some sort of crackers, chips, avocado, or tostadas with it. But i will definately be back to try out other things in their menu. The fish was made with fresh ingredients, and i can tell they prepared their food with care and pride which is very important to me....but for 5 pieces of frozen yucca fingers for 7 bucks, please use fresh next time. My whole meal came to about 26 dollars and i will have half my ceviche and ice cream for lunch tomorrow. Overall my experience was good.
A hole in the wall gems of a place. Great food and service. Portion are great.I highly recommended it.

There’s always a problem with this place. I called to place an order, they had said 35 mins. I went in after 45 and said it’ll be another 45 mins. Decided to give them another chance. Called to place an order with a friend of mine... Placed 2 orders yet when we got there’! Only one was Made. Just frustrating as they don’t even offer to make up for it.. Bad customer service. I hope they get better in that department. But they lost a good customer....
