Down Home Grill used to be the family's favorite place to have a nice breakfast. The food continues to be good, but they have an issue with advertising one price and then charging something else. They do have small letter disclosures on their ordering board screen, so be aware when ordering; otherwise, you will feel cheated. For example, we ordered a sandwich advertised at $7 each, but then we were charged $6 for a full sandwich.

A pretty avrage place—and a safe bet if you have picky eaters. You get a good amount of food for a good price, but it won't blow you away or anything. The staff is nice, and the decor is good too. I got the pancake breakfast with eggs over easy and sausage, and a hot campfire latte. The pancakes and sausage were fine, the eggs were on point and great, but the syrup was on the watery side and might have been sugar-free? Just had a slightly strange taste. The campfire latte is just a normal latte with about seven mini marshmallows, and even though I ordered it hot, it was between room temperature and cold.

DONT ORDER CATERING FROM THEM! They will flake out and cancel right before your event. Ordered over 500 dollars work of food, paid half as deposit for them just to call us 2 days before and tell us it had to be 600.00 so we ordered more food to make their "minimum" they just made up.. they called back the next day and said their cook didn't feel like coming in early and it wasn't worth it to make this order so they canceled it!!! We had 100+ people coming for a work event. I get things come up, but they took the money and the order, made a commitment to fulfill and canceled LAST MINUTE because they said it wasn't worth it?!?!? Poor customer service!! Sorry our 600.00 order "wasn't worth your time"!

Terrible service... 1st, I asked the 2 cashiers what a certain sandwich was and there was no response. My wife said... is anyone going to answer... They said we are looking it up and still didn't they couldn't tell us what came on that sandwich and I had to ask the cook. 2nd, after ordering.. we waiting at the register for our drinks and Vanessa gave us a look and said I'll bring your drinks out to you... didn't bring our drinks with our food and we also had to ask for napkins... Vanessa felt the tension and asked the other girl behind the counter to bring us our drinks and napkinsSide note: Combos would have been a good deal if the service could have matched.

Decent food, nachos not that great. Breakfast sandwich is tasty. Burritos pretty basic. Prices are through the roof. Cool interior but small. It’s not fast food so prepared to wait a good amount of time for your food.
