If ordering out Please check your orders before leaving. Ordered 8 pupusas,Drove 30 minutes to pick up, come home to find out the lazy waitress didn’t put any curtido or salsa even forks on my order. We were all day in a cadet tournament we just wanted to get home and eat but that was not the case. Called the owner he apologized and seemed upset about the service they gave and all but that still didn’t get my $60 I spent back plus ended up leaving them there to rot. All because waitress is overweight and lazy to do her job.

From what I understand, they are not closed, they are located inside the Latin market nextdoor to their old location.

The individual character here is similar to TITO'S GRILL, only not as popular, or as crowded, or with as an extensive menu. El Salvador Del Mundo Restaurant is actually an El Salvadorean Market, where the few El Salvadoreans who live up here can pay inflated prices for exports from the homeland, and homemade dishes from the old country. There are a few seats outside and a half a dozen tables indoors (along the cleaning-products isle), where you can eat these traditional dishes. And they look worth trying, because Grandma is in the kitchen cooking them there, so it must still be sort of good. I just wish that I had had a better experience with the manager the first time I came here.At the register, after me asking the young shop-keep about prices too many times, with my busted out teeth from a recent mugging and mt dirty farm jacket, he looked at me funny, I ended up with the little food that I could afford: which was down to two over-ripe bananas. But I was super-hungry, and I did have a jar of peanut butter at home, so two of the world's most popular long soft yellow tree-fruit were perfect for me, and luckily they were always cheap enough to buy, even with my recycling change. But the young man at the counter (and clearly the son or another relative of the owner) charged me $2.49 per banana. Bananas were only 45 cents per pound at the regular grocery store. I scoffed and left, with NO FOOD.

First of all, the name "The Savior of the World" hinted at a Christian business; however, as you enter you are hit by the smell of pot. It's overwhelming really (I had to wait for a few minutes for my order). Perhaps there was a change in ownership? They seem to be trying to be a one stop shop for everything, from food, to sports jerseys, stationary and bakery. 6 pupusas took 15 minutes to make. This doesn't bother me if the food is made from scratch, rather than opening frozen stuff and heating it in a microwave. Sometimes fast food shouldn't really be called "food," you know?As far as price, it's a little more than you'd pay at El Super. Not too bad, but flavor will win the day, and in that sense I'll consult with the experts (my kids) and update this review accordingly. For now, I just wanna get out of hear. I don't want to go anywhere smelling like drugs...

The Pupusas were delicious, the staff was friendly and the cashier brought out the food to my car on a rainy day.

Legit pupusas that is served with the relish. The ladies working here are very kind but their english is limited. They know how to communicate enough to take your order, but not so much to discuss ingredients unless you can speak some spanish (we had a child with allergy in our group and high school spanish for the word "peanut" helped get us by). Simple menu but delicious eats. I would definitely order from here if we were local. They are associated to a small liquor shop down the way that had various treats including salvadorian ice cream.. served in the delicious neighborhood style of plastic baggie with rubber band. Very nice people, tasty food. Worth a try and potential revisit

Was looking for a good breakfast the other morning while in town and happened to find this little gem. True authentic El Salvadoran cuisine can be found here, truly good food. When we walked in that morning, the place was packed. The host greeted us and said it wouldbe just a few minutes for a table to open. A table cleared within a minute or two and we were called and seated.Service was prompt and professional, our servers were all friendly and kind. The food was very good, I ordered Huevos con Chorizo, scrambled eggs with chorizo, black beans, plantain and housemade tortillas. Along with a cup of coffee it was a great breakfast and a good way to start the day.The place is busy, the service good and the food is very good. Would eat here again easily and recommended. 4 Stars 00818
