Garlic lemon butter whole chicken combo for my family of 3. Always enjoy their chicken and the salsas are tasty. Just wish they had veggie options for sides instead of the basic beans and rice.

Best. Chicken. EVER!!!!! Only started going to Super Apollo as of two years ago but would always drive past it. If this sounds familiar GO. INSIDE!!! The chicken is so moist and flavorful. You can see the chicken being cooked on a giant grill while being sprayed with lemon juice and rubbed with lots of fresh garlic. The rice and beans are very flavorful and the salsas are magic. I always get 8 oz of the green salsa so I have some to drink! I also recommend sides of jalapeños, and the guacamole is really good too. This place is also super reasonably priced and can last multiple meals!

A bit slow on getting your food, test the chicken is what is promised, juice and tender, garlic lemon sauce was good yet I bit to much for me personally, after a few bites I was done, next time I may ask for it separately, the chicken is a bit pricey from my perspective but guess that everything in the area is, it was good yet not my favorite

I really wanted to luv this place cause it's so close to my work!! I ordered the two piece combo chicken plate. The amount of food that I received for $12.40 plus a tip is unacceptable. The leg and thigh were so small and you get a small scoop of rice and beans!!! I'm not a big eater..so I thought I could take home half for dinner!! Not here.

The food is good......services, not so much. I ordered a half chicken meal and was told it would be 15 mins. I finally got my food 45 mins later. It wasn't that busy, there was only one other person in line in front of me. It was overall a frustrating experience.

Shitty a** food, not even authentic, gave me a cold a** burrito with uncooked ASSada. No flavor to much lettuce undercooked beans . Very sloppy and wet for a burrito. This ain't it

Awesome chicken burrito. Ordered the super chicken burrito for pick up and as promised, it came out about 10-15 minutes after I called it in. The cashier was a nice young woman. The burrito was so so so good, everything tasted freshly made, and didn't give me that slightly heavy, tired feeling I usually get from other burrito spots. I was planning to save half for after work, but it was so good, I killed it in one sitting. Their salsa is very tasty as well. I will be coming back!

Hmmm. Not sure I would return here. First off they are mask nazis so don't forget one! Lol. Even though literally everywhere else in costa mesa/NB doesn't require one. I can literally go to a pharmacy and not wear one, haha. The chicken itself is very good and juicy and flavor. Honestly I should have just got a chicken plate. I ordered the chicken nachos, and they were EXTREMELY soggy. When I say all the chips were soggy, I mean that. The ingredients other than the chips wer great. They give you a great side salsa. I truly think they could make good nachos here, but they really are dropping the ball. I don't think they realize how soggy it was. I basically didn't eat the chips and just ate what is on top. Didn't expect that from this place. Sad.
The best chicken spot i have been to. The flavor is amazing and they have great salsa to go with it. This is a staple in our house - once a week - because it's that good. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Also shout out because the one time my order was late, they hooked me up with extra food. Did not expect it but that is great customer service.

This restaurant is our go to spot for a quick take home dinner, even during this time(Pandemic ) so many restaurants lose customers because they seem to change and the food is rushed not this place, When I go in the dad is always on the grill making sure the chicken is cooked too perfection and the sides are also good, you can tell time is put into making sure that this restaurant is a success in the community.
