1. Waitress was a downer. No effort in making our experience upbeat. She did bring out the food though. She also asked if we were going to give her a tip before taking away our credit card? They do not bring out bill so you can choose to tip privately. I tipped her 20% since she was miserable and I felt sorry for her. 2. Ordered pancakes which were undercooked and like slop and tasted like maybe margarine? I couldn't eat any of it. Also ordered potatoes which were so saturated in some nasty oil so left those behind too. 3. Did not get my kicks on route 66 after this non-meal.

Super cute little stop cafe style restaurant. I've always wanted to stop by here because it was featured in kill bill 2 lol but the service was very nice and the food was yummy just American style and the cook was very nice to my boyfriend and I. Definitely going back.

Nestled in the heart of the high desert, this hidden gem evokes nostalgic memories of childhood adventures and family stomping grounds. During a recent vacation, I returned with one of my own adult families in tow to experience the area once again. The trucker special sandwich stole the show with its robust flavors and generous portions. A succulent grilled beef patty, perfectly cooked and oozing with juices, paired harmoniously with the kick of a green chili, adding an extra layer of tantalizing taste. But it wasn't just the food that left us enamored; it was the personal touch of being able to chat with one of the owners, who regaled us with tales of the restaurant's history. The atmosphere crackled with warmth and nostalgia, and we found ourselves charmed by the playful banter and delightful wordplay. In the embrace of the high desert scenery, surrounded by memories old and new, we savored not just a meal but an experience--a testament to the power of good food, great company, and the timeless allure of the desert landscape.

Definitely disappointed. The food was nothing special & the service was slow and inattentive. Would not recommend going here.

I asked the lady what their famous burger was, and she said the Brian Burger was commonly ordered. It was very tasty, along with the chocolate shake. I will be going back again to try out their breakfast. This is a hole in the wall place, which, in my opinion, in most cases, is a hidden gem. I'm looking forward to trying out their other items.

The Brian burger is on point. Sourdough bread soaks up all the goodness. Great Route 66 historic vibe. Ask for the in house made hot sauce.
