Based on my first experience, it was actually better than expected. My work crew came in and we had a great time. Food was better than expected though prices were a little higher than I would of thought. Service was great, and like most normal Sushi restaurants, the atmosphere was nice. I'm basing it off of all the sushi places I've been to locally in the High Desert.

Best sushi I've had in a long time. I'm visiting on a work trip and really enjoyed the selections here. The staff was really on top of things. I sat at the bar and hardly went a moment without the active staff checking in. I loved the spicy garlic edamame and a selection of rolls and nigiri. I'll be back. Minor point, but worth noting, the floors were slick and the surfaces has a little stickiness to them. Ownership: Please take a beat to address this so it doesn't overtake your great vibe.

11 am Friday. Seated right at opening time. Took a seat at the bar, famished, and motivated. Before I received my fresh "wasabi" and ginger, I was met with the wonderfully intoxicating, yet stentorian sounds of MORTIFIED SCREAMING. I glanced at the television located directly above the bar area to find a grand surprise. T'was none other than the critically acclaimed film, 28 Weeks Later. There is just something about listening to (and observing) the mastication of human bones, the gushing of blood, and the dramatic loss of human life that really gets me into the raw fish mood. Its comforting to finally visit a restaurant that will not only serve you mediocre sushi, but will provide (at no additional cost) an instructional video on how to conduct yourself in the event of the inevitable zombie apocalypse. Run! Don't walk! to Yoshi Sushi for your own serendipitous experience.
