Always excellent, great service and great food. Always ask for the cabbage to add to salsa. Had the combo with taco enchiladas and chile relleno. Prices were reasonable and drinks were worth the price.

I've been coming to El Rosal since I was a child and it has changed for the worst! Food quality has gone bad with high prices since around 2018-2020. Service has gone down hill since then too! They use to have such amazing servers and good time management with just amazing customer service attitude. Now the servers barely do anything and when they do it's not even bare minimum that a customer deserves. Very disappointed and just sad how things are at El rosal. In 2024 it's hard to say but I will not be coming here anymore after 22 years of being their customer.

Good food, great atmosphere good service, took a bit to get utensils, appetizers came before utensils, chilled shot was short because it was chilled, probably shouldn't ask for it chilled, wanted chimichanga, but not rice n beans so I ordered al la cart, but omg they should let u know if u do al la cart its half the size. Idk I won't be coming back unless it's a real size chimichanga.So I asked if I would have got the combo plate would it be bigger...got confirmation nope...lol idk...truly nice place.. I heard Mexican music playing in the kitchen as door swung open, I wish they had it playing throughout the place.

Ate there today and the service sucked. The only thing that was worse was the food. It sucked more. Plus they surcharged my credit card 3%. I don't think we will go back here ever again. Stay away from this place. Don't waste your money.

We stopped by here as a recommendation on our way out of York. Definitely 5 star customer service and the food was incredible.
Chips and Salsa was just okay. I asked for something a bit more spicier and they were kind enough to give us some Habanero Sauce which was great. Had the Chile Relleno and Tamale combo plate. My wife had the Carnitas Plate with Rice and Beans. Food was good. The Dos Equis and Modelo on tap was nice and cold. Great service and atmosphere.

This review comes from my recent experiences lately. As I'm a regular customer who dines about every two weeks here. I have to say the food is good, however the portions have not been generous enough. I usually have a pozole soup on weekends. One item combo during week. For the price of the large pozole and for two pieces of meat was disappointing. The quality of one item combination comes down when plate is overly microwaved and rice becomes hard and beans over heated, hence the hot plate when it arrives to your table. Service has fell off big time with faces of waitresses all the time. It takes long to get drink order ready, by that time I'm ready to place my food order and don't need to wait for a menu. It's really a hit or miss who you get as a waitress as some are more decent than others. I've been going to the Noble location for years now and nothing has been remodeled and is outdated. However they did get new flooring during covid. With the Mooney location closing it would be nice to have a fresh update on booths/tables.
