Service was good, restaurant was clean food was good. Flan was very good. Only disappointment, there were some items posted on yelp that were no longer on menu. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

I was sooo excited to try this place, because the reviews were great! But hear me out....I'm breaking this review down a bit, so bare with me. Food/Service- 3 stars. I'll be completely honest, the food wasn't as great as I expected. Especially based on the reviews I read before going. The menu is very small & has limited options. Once we arrived, the waiter brought out chips & salsa & took our drink order. The chips were good but the salsa was not really flavorful. We both ordered a Michelada with Modelo Negra. It was actually a good Michelada & garnished with lemon wedges, cucumber, a tamarindo stick, & chamoy drizzle & a Tajín/salt rim. The food was brought out pretty quick - maybe like 10/15 minutes after ordering. I ordered their flauta special which included 3 flautas (chicken or beef), garnished with lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, & queso cotija, rice & beans. It was okay. A little bland for my liking. But very filling. My friend ordered their enchilada combo plate which included 2 enchiladas, side salad, rice & beans. Our waiter was so kind & very attentive. He would check up on us often. Environment/Restaurant Setting: 4 stars. I love everything about the inside of this restaurant. The vibrant colors, the paintings/decor, how it's so hip, & spacious. The decorations are so dope! & I love that there were so many paintings & random Mexican decorations to look at. I felt like a child walking around looking at everything there lol there is a small little shop at the back of the restaurant that has small goodies from Mexico like jarritos (for coffee, beer, tea), molcajetes, piñatas & random little goodies. The bar area is huge!! & I like that the bar area is dim compared to the rest of the restaurant. I also like that it was so clean! Overall it was such a nice restaurant. I would definitely recommend their micheladas. I would have to go back to try other food options, maybe it will change my mind on the food rating. FYI: after speaking to our waiter, this location will be closing down at the end of the month (February 2022) however, they have a similar location in Farmersville called La Mejor. The waiter & his girlfriend sell their michelada mix (used at the restaurant) at La Mejor.

This was our 2nd time !! The 1st time was amazing which was a couple of months back Not sure if owners changed or chefs etc but the food actually was bland The only thing hot is the salsa but it’s all runny so you can’t scoop on the chips ?

Our waitress was very friendly, attentive and was easily multitasking. Our order was perfect and delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very lively because of the decorations, quiet because we went on a Thur evening and was not busy but they played great music. It was obvious they put a lot of thought into the detail and decor of the restaurant. The small things from the decor, to the plates, the cups and straws really made a huge and fun impact on our dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant; for families, parties or just a fun date night. I live in the next town over and would make the drive any night if craving Mexican food. The shrimp fajitas were delicious and not over cooked. The famous michelada was delicious and had all the fixings. My daughter loves the gorditas, they were very crispy and she said they were better than her grandmas. My son practically forced himself to eat all his burrito, which was a huge portion. My husband loved the steak, and said it was a large helping as well. The kids meal was a generous portion and he loved the rice and beans. It was nice to find this gem in Visalia. Thanks again!

Had Sunday breakfast at this hip, new Mexican spot near downtown Visalia. The vibe and decor were definitely the stars of this place. We wanted to sample a few items so my friends and I shared the chili verde chilaquiles, menudo and french toast breakfasts. The menudo was not hot enough though, perhaps it was sitting too long before it was brought to the table. It had a decent flavor but needed all the sides to really give it a kick. The chilaquiles were pretty tasty but could have been fried a little longer as they had some sogginess. The french toast was good enough. We ordered two micheladas. They were good and embellished with lots of yummy candy. If you like micheladas you should have one here. They do not have a full bar, wine and beer only. It's a cool spot with fun decor and lots of TV's. Come hang out here during a football game. Order the food after you've had at least two micheladas.

Food is really good. Wish they had a liquor license and could serve something other than beer and wine but it should be coming. Then they will be great. Appetizers are super yummy though! And so is their chile verde!
