This is one of my favorite places to get food when I'm in town for work. Their chicken salad and gyoza are delicious, but the cashier today 12/06/23 had by far the worst customer service I have seen. Left a sour taste in mouth. I will not be returning. 5 stars for food & negative stars for service.
The teriyaki beef was so over cooked it was like eating rehydrated beef jerky The squid special was chewy and greasy Not going to do it again

Service from Asian girl who works as cashier is AWFUL. Rude, aggressive and it's apparent the owner does not care. After she tried to instigate an altercation with myself and a co-worker on our lunch all because we checked our own orders and noticed the extra veggies we paid for were not included, I called the owner foolishly thinking they would want to know of this behavior. He "acted" shocked but his response was to visit the Mary's vineyard location in the future. After reading the numerous reviews of terrible customer service by this lady there is no way he isn't aware. Oh well, they can continue to lose customers.

Went to Masaru's restaurant on Goshen and Akers in Visalia California today and had the worst customer service and management experience. Asked to have my salad order checked because I asked for no onions or Crunchy noodles and to make sure the salad dressing was there because half the time it never is. Girl said she would not look as she knew the order was right. Came home and there was onions and noodles in my salad and no salad dressing. I called the restaurant and asked for A manager. I said I Needed a new salad because this one was inedible and he said said no, "You took the salad home we cannot reimburse you we cannot make you another one unless you pay again". I used to go to Masaru four times a week; it was expensive and good food. Now the prices are several dollars more and the portions are 1/3 less in size. Customer service has been poor lately and I do not recommend this restaurant at all. This is not the first time something like this has happened. The line is usually long and slow so if you are looking for a fast food place this is not it. I would not recommend this place at all. If you get togo food there you better check your order By pulling everything out of the bag and make sure they got it right otherwise you're out of luck

Been a long time fan of Masarus. Their food is still wonderful and quick when you’re in a hurry. Not sure who the gal is up front anymore but she’s younger and FULL of attitude. She was writing my order down before I could finish and said I was frustrating her. I can’t believe you would have someone like that as a front customer service worker.

FOR YEARS I stopped going to Masarus because the chicken was so dry! Something changed post covid. Ever since it's so much better. Keep it up Masarus! Quality matters.
