We went there today 5/8/22 and the place unfortunately is closed. Permanently! This makes us sad, because we frequented the one in Escondido and then it closed and now this one is gone. The sign on the door says San Ysidro is the closest now. Good Luck Kelly and Kari on future endeavors.

The fruit was cut but left on the rind with no knife supplied to cut it off. Many older and handicap people could never do this. They o nly have huge Styrofoam to go boxes. The hostess found me some parchment from baker sheets. The front of the house.is greatBut what comes out of the.kitchen is a 50/50 chance it's edible.

Menu changed since I've eaten at a Coco's before pandemic. Less choices higher prices and food was just ok. Pie was delicious though...

Table was dirty, napkin was dirty, coffee was old then refilled cold. Food was OK. So much potential, such a shame.

The only reason I'm this place a 5 out 5 is cause of server Kary. Plus the food pretty good and prices are decent. Ask for Kari if you're going to the Vista restaurant.

I bought this asking the host, Linda, at the register if the pies were freshly made today. She says, "Yes" with eyes that said otherwise. So I proceed and picked this pie because the first pie she reached out to get she touched with the side of her hand. I then ask her if she can put on gloves and she tells me they don't have plastic gloves but then found gloves. There's the pie. I knew it was a red flag when I called for it and she said they have lots. Cocos isn't what it used to be. Fresh pies, lots of customers, hustle bustle; it's gone downhill. The looks of this location is worn out, smelly, pie display was sad, not a lot of variety to choose from and fruit pies looked dried out. it's a shame. Cocos used to be good especially their pies. After this purchase, I'm convinced this Cocos needs to hang it up. They're not at all what they used to be. But now I know how to make banana pie and look forward to doing so

One of the few Coco's left. Good food and service. I love the Asian Salad and their house dressing.

Chicken fried steak and eggs, classic breakfast were both terrific. Kelly was very pleasant, attentive to our every need, coffee was always taken care of. Thank you Kelly for a wonderful breakfast experience. Mike and Felicita
